Weekends Ruined By Constant Gun Fire

Who is the "neighbor" who target shoots EVERY weekend?? My dog is terrorized and refuses to go outside because this very inconsiderate person is shooting all day until the sun sets on both Saturdays and Sundays. I never thought I'd look forward to the rain coming back!

I understand there is an ordinance that prohibits shooting within 500 ft of Lake Roesiger. If I could zero in on where the gun fire is coming from I'd pay them a visit to ask that they go to the gun range like the rest of us as I'm pretty sure they are shooting within the prohibited area. I moved here to enjoy the serenity of the woods and my nerves are unraveled instead. Who can enjoy the outdoors with guns firing all day long (automatic weapons as well).

PLEASE STOP!!

That should be 500 yd, not feet.

Move back to the city. I moved out here so I could shoot, fish, hunt and hike. I enjoy the sound of gun fire. Good for the man who is shooting all day on the weekands. You and your dog need to buck up you yuppie.

What makes you think I'm from the city? We built our home out here more than 25 years ago. I target shoot in my backyard but never for more than an hour at a time because I try to be CONSIDERATE of my neighbors who may be having a family picnic or something else they are trying to enjoy outdoors without having to listen to booming gunfire all weekend long. Last weekend my windows rattled from the heavy artillery being used. Gun fire is ILLEGAL within 500 yds of the Lake. Maybe you moved out here to listen to gunfire all the time, but many people live here for the peace and quiet of the woods. Show some courtesy to your neighbors...that is all I'm asking.

I live further than 500 yards. Your assumption is incorrect.
