If ya cant stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen!!

That post goes to show your ignorance. Perhaps out in Woodruff you people could start a barbaric Soccer team that would meet your standards.
It sure seems like none of your players, parents or grandparents meet AYSO standards.
It is a shame when the entire talk of the Soccer Complex was about the girls U19 team from Woodruff and their parents and grandparents. When your reputation proceeds you as a whole team and as the parents and grandparents spewing the bitterness, hatred and bigotry from the sidelines, that is a sad day in what is supposed to be a FUN sport.
I am teaching my child the opposite of what you all are teaching your children.
And I would bet that my daughter will be the obstetrician delivering your grandaughters babies in a few years.
Ignorance lives on. And that is plain to see in Woodruff SC.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU MOM WITH CLASS! CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE TAUGHT TO ACT THIS WAY. THEY SHOULD ACT LIKE LADIES, AND RESPECT OTHERS, AND IN RETURN BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, NOT LIKE A BUNCH OF WILD DOGS FIGHTING FOR A BONE. YOU CAN PLAY A GAME WITH FAIRNESS AND STILL WIN WITH PRIDE, OUR GIRLS SHOULD BE PROUD OF THEIRSELVES!!! THEYRE WINNERS TO ME!!

I have found post like this all over the internet. Must be something in the water in Woodruff. It appears the problem is rampant in all sports in Woodruff. This is probably the pinnacle of these girls life... There last chance to shine before they end up like their parents and grandparents. Let them win the game and lose in life.

My daughter was the one that got hit by the great soccer players from Wodruff. She had enough class to walk away from a situation that could have gotten alot worse. I applaud her in her actions and in the end her team was the ones that came out on top. So, hopefully the girls from Woodruff can take a look at what class really is.

All this is just jelousy! All of you so called adults are acting like we arent going to have a life. But yall say we stack our teams and we play rough, we play to win, just like yall do. Its like this when yall win its ok, but when we win, yall run your mouths making excuses. But lets be honest. YOUR JELOUS! We win because we go out there and play to have fun. BUT HEY, maybe this year yall will have a chance to win since AYSO will not let Woodruff play, since yall are tired of us winning. Oh and pleanty of Woodruff girls have been hurt too. But pain comes with the game!!!=P

I would like to mention that as a relative of a former U-age AYSO WOODRUFF soccer player with a doctorate degree in political science and a J.D. in law, I can see exactly where your hostility is generated from on this blog. It is generated from your own inadequacies as a parent. Let me explain a few things about growing up as a woman in a sports community. We start at an early age playing sports on recreational teams against each other. By the time we reach high school level, only the best of the best compete against other school teams. However, everyone is encouraged to partipate on all sports teams. Yes, Woodruff is competitive and no, we do not like to lose...in any sport. However, the only cheating that I have ever witnessed in the AYSO tourneys was the officials against Woodruff. Inturn, causing us to play twice as hard against a group of whiney sore losers. We must ask ourselves, why are these girls whiney and sore losers? Maybe it is the ingrained home taught entitlement values that are instilled upon them at home.
So Mom or Dad, when your daughter goes out into the real world to deliver our babies, make sure that it is something that she really wanted to do with her life not living another one of your unrealized dreams....

Woodruff is very competitive and known for its sports ability. If you can't handle the heat from the competition, then stay out of our kitchen!

As a new Regional Commissioner of AYSO and one that jst does the youger age groups 4-12 I'm appalled of such bickering its just youth soccer its just a game as a Coach I've had good records but they don't mean a thing my teams in the past before AYSO won championships but that didn't mean nothing for one my group is planning on having a tournament this fall and I have no problem ejecting any one from our fields for such behaviour I hope this is a older group problem and not a youger group problem because our kids play for the fun of the game we win we lose oh well thats just how the game goes so take it from a coach play like a kid just have fun guys its not worth the headache................Play Soccer AYSO region 1588

As a PROUD WOODRUFF DAD AND BY THE WAY NOT BLOOD RELATED TO ANYONE FROM THE RUFFWOOD!! I WOULD LIKE TO SAY COACHING A CHILD TO LOSE IS NOT A GOOD COACHING. COACHING A CHILD TO WIN IS NOT CHEETING GET OVER IT HAVE A NICE DAY DONT NO WHAT HAPPENED TO GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP BUT WE INSTALL IT IN FROM DAY 1 WE ARE ALL I HOPE INFLUNCED TO BE KIND AND HAVE GOOD MANNORS LOSING IS A PART OF LIFE IT HAPPENS. BEING COMPETIVE AND PLAYING HARD IS WHAT WE DO CHEERING LOUD AND BEING PROUD IS WHO WE ARE.BE AGGRESSIVE BE BE AGGRESSIVE.SOCCER IS A PHYSICAL SPORT!!!
