Emporium expansion encourages art, conversation

There are 1 comment on the Brush News-Tribune story from Jan 29, 2013, titled Emporium expansion encourages art, conversation. In it, Brush News-Tribune reports that:

The passing of Amendment 64 to adopt a progressive cannabis policy has certainly had an effect on the business climate of cities and towns throughout Colorado, and as municipalities wait patiently for official regulations and options to be passed down from the state level, retail shop owners in many places have already begun testing the limits of ... I note the law seems to be concerned with "public smoking" of cannabis, raising the question, what if VAPORIZATION is permitted? Use modern equipment to AVOID the carbon monoxide and 421 combustion poisons of "smoking"-- and maybe without getting "stoned" (DEPRESSION) or "high" (MANIA) patrons would get CREATIVE, and useful excursions could be organized out of the Oteros' store to abate litter, underbrush, etc.

In recent years Colorado has suffered colossal billion-dollar wildfires caused by droughts and the resulting accumulation of deadwood everywhere (former President Bush referred to it as "kindling", and appeared in a 2001 photo holding a hatchet). Let me mention two modern tools that not only efficiently clip deadbrush but do so in a neatly creative way: the anvil pruner (easily sharpened blade cuts down against a flat surface) and the ratchet pruner (can cut through thicker stems). Use these, along with handfsaw and hatchet, to excise "low limbs" and deadwood from live trees!

Cut, bundle small branches and deliver them to gullies where rainwater runs downstream; build up a mound of material which will trap water so that it evaporates and develops into rainclouds locally, preventing drought and climate change. This is the kind of work I find most intriguing after a toke and most medical marijuana patients should combine their medication with ourtdoor exercise anyway!!!
