Wegmans eyes Germantown

Germantown is slated to become the prize winner in the county to land super grocery store company Wegmans, if all goes as planned for the mixed-use project Minkoff Development Corp.

Wegman's is a great grocery store chain. In my hometown, Syracuse, NY, they have several in the greater metro area. They were number one in getting people through the checkout line and number one in quality and diversity of products. It's more like going into a food emporium that tantalizes your senses.
Their name brand products are second to none. Their tomato sauce for one makes the best chili. And they always have a great buffet, sandwiches and other fresh cooked munchies that you can eat on site and eliminate your hunger crave before you start your shopping.
Wegman's has been a great corporate contributor to local communities they serve. Even their employees rate the employer as one of the best in the country.

i think it's an absolute great idea to have Wegmans in germantown. i hope it helps subdue some of the negativity of the city and promote many of its great aspects.

The possibility that a Wegman store will becoming to Montgomery CO is great news. The store products and staff are great and Giant, Safeway and the other stores in this area need this compatition.
Hope that this moves along fast and we will finally have this great store closer to our location.

GREAT NEWS! This feels like christmas when you get to open your presents! I was waiting desperatly for a WEGMAN's store to open in montgomery county....you can't beat the quality of food plus the convenience of buyimg so many brands under one roof. THANK YOU WEGMAN!

I am soooooo excited about Wegman's coming to Germantown. I am from Upstate NY and I loved Wegmans for years.
