Astronaut speaks frankly

Full story: Alamogordo Daily News

Astronaut Mike Mullane, who has been to space three times aboard space shuttles Discovery and Atlantis, spoke at the Alamogordo Family Recreation Center gym Saturday about his space experiences and to inspire his audience to make their dreams come true.

It was such an honor to hear Col. Mullane speak on Saturday. I wish all of my students could have been there. Thank you for bringing him here to Alamogordo.

Too bad more students couldn't hear the talk. It was very enlightning, sometimes humorous, always a good message. I went to his website www.mikemullane.com and there are samples of his talk available as a media file.
