What does anyone expect from a town lead by a moron Mayor that deserves straight F's. A total FAILURE. He is supposed to be an adult but he cannot obey, plays dirty. He is very bad example to the youth of Stratford. Stratford needs leadership with a whole new administration, an honest Town Council, A Real Mayor

Now the Mayor might be a Flunky but be fair, he was not around when these kids were born . The parents if there were two are the ones who instill behaviour and values in their children. It's lucky one of them did not have a weapon on them as we might have been writing about a murder.I guess now the fighting words have changed.Instead of fighting when someone says "Your Mama" it is now "your sneakers" SAD

lets see : YO YO YO (going to try to leave out race ) i never saw a certain group of people to worry about matching sneakers to their outfit. on the other hand i see certain groupS that need to be fashionable in their attire. was it a matching cap on the head sideways too. these punk kids with no respect need to start wearing geranables so the can match the tags to match the clothes. i say implement a dress code uniform system like Bridgeport did and then everyone looks the same.

You down wit dat ? word up yo!

OH if that ever happened when i was growing up to me my father would have kicked my ars with those mis match shoes.

I know these kids, blah blah, they are good kids, blah blah, they go to church and help their neighbors blah blah, they volunteer at the local crack-baby daycare blah blah.

You can't judge a man (or a thug) unless you've walked a mile in his mis-matched sneakers.. you don't know the pressure they are under! gotta have the latest sneakers, gotta have the latest phone, gotta have the most stylin' grillz.

Word to your momma, and your daddy to if'n you know who he be!

Peace out.

Just too much energy it's wasting into fighting one another, instead they should be thinking on how to fix the problems that we have now...!

"Supt. of Schools Irene Cornish on Wednesday confirmed the incident occurred. The students "will be referred to me for the appropriate disciplinary action," she said."
------
This is CODE for "nothing will be done." My understanding is that those involved were minority students.

This is a criminal manor and Cornish should not be involved. This matter should be handled by the police and court system and the students involved permanently suspended from school. We should have a zero tolerance for violence in schools. Cornish will just sweep it under the rug and chalk it up as a "display of youthful expression."

Prosecute those involved and throw them out of school.

Oh, that's brilliant..."throw them out of school"...
Then taxpayers can support them for the rest of their lives.

I wonder if that's how you would want it if it was your family member?

What a Jerk!!

Funny how some people can't afford food or home necessities but they can afford $100 sneakers on a whim.

Charge them as criminals and put them in jail/juvy. Period - they could have gotten a lot of people hurt - they deserve jail time.

cmon now, can't we have a discussion without name-calling?...they MUST be thrown out of "mainstream" school...i believe that, after the complete their jail terms, they should be enrolled in the "alternative" school...i'd also "charge" the parents of the offenders to pay for any additional costs for going to the "alternative" school...see, wasn't that a simple solution?...now, all in favor of school "vouchers", you know, REAL choice in schools, please stand up!...thanks and God bless!

Holy Fake Christian Batman!
Wow, if you can't manage mercy, grace and most of all forgiveness, you are in trouble.
Don't read the Bible because you might not like what Jesus has to say about your type of spirit.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Capricorn

Self deception will be the main issue today. You may be judging your situation wrongly: don't hold back, say what you think diplomatically and without being hurtful. This should result in a positive mental outlook for you. Competitive sports activity will ease any stress or tension.
