It has always puzzled me as to how one can find humor in the most kaotic of times. Yet, there it is. I couldn't keep fom smiling.

Janell, what are they saying about Ute Pass reopening? Any speculation? My family has a reunion planned for the third week of Juky in GMF.

InciWeb says full containment not expected until July 16, but that isn't the same as your question. I'd continue to monitor reports and possibly check with town leadership before traveling. Www.gmfco.us

I lived in Colorado Springs 40 years ago and visited there in 1996. It was a beautiful town when i lived there and still was when I visited in 96. Praying for everyone and wish you Godspeed.

Do you know a woman named Sandra Monroe? She lives at 230 Eagle Pines Drive in Woodland Park.

Just a shot in the dark here....Her phone has not worked for several weeks and I lost touch with her, wondering if she and her home were affected.

Thanks. Hope you and yours remain safe, we are watching from NYC.

Has Chipita Park been affected? I lived there in the late 70's and wish I still did. I lived on Mohawk Trail. Does anyone have any information?
My heart goes out to all of you, I wish there was something I could do.

It is not on fire. The city is still under either pre or mandatory evacuations. Highway 24 has no word yet about it opening. It should be fine in a few weeks. I would check the news later before I decided.

It seems to be a fundamental law of nature that what goes around eventually comes around. Many Coloradans whose homes were turned into secondhand smoke are some of the most enthusiastic supporters of Big Government's efforts to suffer unspeakable harassment and abuse on decent women and men *(the "little folks")* who enjoy the simple worker *("middle")* class pleasure of smoking an occasional cigarette or cigar. As those who think about such things often say, Karma can be a real bitch.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Capricorn

You're keen to look on the bright side of things and to ignore anything unpleasant or worrying. That's fine, provided that you're ready to face up to life's difficulties again tomorrow. But it's not such good news if you persist in looking the other way whenever a problem presents itself, especially if it's connected with your work or health. It may be time to face a few facts, Capricorn.
