I was at the West Valley Shelter yesterday to play and talk with the cats. I go there on a frequent basis so all of the shelter personnel call me the "cat lady." I spoke with Pat, told her that I read the story in the Daily News. She told me they had numerous calls, but the owner had not yet stepped forward. I'm thrilled this story has a very happy ending. I'm glad the owners have stepped forward and the dog and sheep are home again safe and sound.

I am glad the dogs/sheep is back with the owner, but I am little concerned that they were release without being spayed/or neutuer. Also, If they didn't have the license, are they up on their shots. I know its hard for Animal Services to enforce the law on this one, but the law is the law. The story didn't tell us about their health. Emotionally they are find now, but they must be cared for with love. Also, I don't buy they just got the sheep three days ago. It took them a long time to come forward which rasises questions since there's a lot of willing folks who want to adopt them too, and who live in an area where it zone to have sheep. Can anyone own a sheep in the City of LA? on another note, Some one took my siamesse cat who never would have left my home, and I think it was the lady who comes around feeding cats and it was cold and my cat was out. She didn't want to come in at the time. I checked the Animal Services websit, and even went in when one was brought in, but it was not my cat. It has been more than a year, and I believe she going find her way home as soon as she can get away from whoever took her.

this is the precise reason why I love and treasure animals so much. They're simply amazing. Kudos to the business man for saving their lives. Anybody know where his pizza business is?( email me at superfudgethegreat@gmail.com) I would like to patronize their biz and encourage others to do so. I'm also very happy the owners got their animals back.
