State assembly member, Mariko Yamada, left her share of rattling skeletons in her Yolo closet before arriving at the state capital.

When Yamada and her cohorts hired probation chief, Don Meyers, and protected Meyers from felony accusations, tampered with an investigation and obstruction, Yamada, also assured that felony accusations against Sheriff Dennis Downum (Calaveras co)would never be investigated.

To be fair, Yamada, has probably never met Sheriff Dennis Downum, but this is the product of operating the government like a criminal enterprise and that the conspiracy to cover-up has implications that exceed Yamada's criminal acts.

Yamada and her BOS cohorts were able to obstruct and hide a felony investigation because presiding judge Donna Petre, was watching their back. Petre, as a judicial officer played multiple roles in the obstruction of justice, 1) Petre concurrently appointed probation chief, Meyers with Yamada and the BOS, 2) Petre, later abused the grand jury by operating such as an arm of the court to cover-up the court's illicit hiring of chief Meyers from Calaveras county.

So why would an award winning family court judge, Donna Petre, abuse the judicial privledges to cover-up felony accusations on behalf of state foster youth? You'd have to ask Donna Petre.

The dominoes are lined-up, we just need the first one to go down and Yamada would be doing us and herself--- at her federal sentencing hearing a great public service by taking full accountability. Yamada could review the federal court transcripts of former SF supervisor, Ed Jew, who finally took full responsibility to get the picture.

Topix postings have been forwarded to Yamada's assembly email and she continues the cover-up? How much longer Yamada do we have to wait for our investigation?
While public corruption tears down the fabric of a community another problem is that corruption has allowed the incompetency and stupidity of Sheriff Downum to continue (and Yamada).

What do Sheriff Dennis Downum, state assembly member, Mariko Yamada, county schools superintendent, John Brophy, Calaveras judge John E. Martin, supervisor, Bill Claudino, Yolo judge (ret) Donna Petre and probation chief, Don Meyers, all have in common?

Calaveras' Sheriff Dennis Downum is the poster boy of a Top Cop that abused the privileged powers
for personal gain, influence peddling, obstruction of justice and racketeering conspiracy.

Think Orange County's "America's Sheriff" whose gone down with a corruption scandal that would pale in comparison to Downum's scheme.
