"Natasha Ramos, 23, of Woodland, and the front passenger Crystal Rodriguez, 18, of Woodland"

Time for the 'bait' cars to be used. Mobile perps using someone else's property to get about as they do their dastardly deeds.

It would also help if the County had a resident ICE agent. Enough of this lawlessness.

Here we go, Reisig will turn this into a gang crime so he can get more jail time and more headlines, the juvenile will be flagged for 'associating' with gang members so he will be labeled a gang member and the next press release will be "Woodland now has 4003 gang members, now passes LA for gang crime".

All this talk about how great DA Reisig and all the gang units and all the money spent on so called gangs and still crime continues to grow.

Come you Reisig supports, you are always saying how great he is, so why is crime continuing to grow? Perhaps society feels when the top is corrupt and gets away with crimes, then why should anyone follow the rules. How can we expect people to respect law and the system when the system is run by law breakers and untrustworthy types?

We need to clean the political streets before we try and clean the public streets.

Gangbangers are NOT "society". Crime contiues to grow because of the low-life, scum, cowardly gangbangers who are nothing but a pox on society. The more of these lowlife that we can send to jail the better. Step on them like the cockroaches they are.

Poor children. They are taken the blame for the adult males that actually stole the auto. They should not have driven the vehicle. They will have to either give up the adults that stole the vehicle or ride the beef themselves.

Could this be gangs:

So, is it the DA's fault that they stole the truck, or the DA's fault that they arrested the thieves, or the DA's fault if they prosecute, or the DA's fault if they let them go, or all of the above.

Maybe if you ask real nice they will give you your job back, or undo whatever it is that makes you hate the DA. I don't know him or any of his staff but it looks to me like they are doing at least a fair job, and maybe doing it well - how about you give it a break, the criminals deserve to pay for their crimes and the DA's job is to make that happen.

The reason for crime continuing to grow dosen't fall on the shoulders of one human being. It's clear that the two young ladies were not raised right. It starts with good parents and good mentors growing up. You obviously do not qualify as either.

They are young women, not young ladies. There is a difference as all ladies are women, but all women are not ladies! Car-stealing skanks would be a better description.

...but, but, but...according to our police chief Carey Sullivan, "Woodland doesn't have a gang problem."

How else could we give the police chief his 10% pay increase immeidately after ALL other city employees were suckered into agreeing to a 5% cut?

Gangs in Woodland? Deny, deny, deny!
