Woodland planners won't OK pot sellers

The Woodland Planning Commission agreed that businesses shouldn't be allowed to operate in Woodland if they violate state or federal law.

As someone who has made a fortune selling pot since 1964, and has helped your kids stop being alcoholics and Republicans, I fear I will now have to retire with all my ill gotten gains, that I have not had to pay taxes on to support your illegal wars and the lazy cops who go after pot users instead of real criminals. There is so much misinformation going around on the issue that is really all about the culture war going on now on most major issues of the day. The right-wingers out there deserve to eat the crap they spill out their mouths as their kids now get high instead of drinking and smoking cig's. The people who really will hurt are the ones who have been making a killing off of the high prices they have been charging people for years for a plant that is so easy to grow that your grandma could grow it successfully in a flower box with alittle lite and water and fertilizer. Take the profit out of it and that will open the cops time to go out and find real bad guys who are molesting your children.
Stop feeding your face with fast foods and watching your waist grow like a pot plant, and read the facts available on the internet on the positive effects that common folks have reported with the use of cannabis and how it has changed their lives to the positive and how it just makes them just plain feel better. This issue won't ever go away no matter who you put in office as millions of common folk choose pot over pills now. How many times have you heard of a bar room brawl and when was the last time you heard of a pot room brawl? When was the last time you heard of someone who died from smoking to much pot? People wake up and smell the flowers, the voters won't stand by and let lazy cops bust us, and take our land, and make lazy lawyers take our hard earned money that supports the perverted legal system that makes money off the suffering of people who smoke or eat flowers just to deal with lifes daily problems

When was the last time you heard of a functioning pot head being an active member of society? At least people who drink alcohol nightly still get up for work every morning and are not glued to the sofa. Yes you are right you never hear of potroom brawls because the majority of pepole who smoke pot are usually a bunch tree hugging, granola eating, birenstock wearing, panty waisted liberals, who can barely make a fist let alone throw a punch.

Do u really think people who smoke pot don't work everyday like everyone else? How else do u think they can even buy it... Ya obviously that's how some pot smokers can be! Well to be frank, yes. For the nost part, you just described the current state of affairs all across the state of California (not to mention our fed. law makers with their 'Cadillac perks,' which even in the purported Obummer-care health bills ARE EXEMPTING THEMSELVES from the potential laws that EVERYONE will be MANDATED to follow under threat of sanction - FINE!)

Take a close look at the pay structures for our judges and state legislators. You'll see exactly how difficult it is to modify their pay.

FYI, in the future it may be advisable to refrain from being disingenuous re: the 10% pay as we all know it's for leading ANOTHER ENTIRE DEPARTMENT and not just because, correct?

Open promotions can lead to larger pools from which to draw the right candidate. In many cases current employees have the advantage, anyway.

"Play?" Not enough info - need more.

"...Does not care...." You are treading on thin ice and detract from your arguments when you get into addressing another persons mental state, and thoughts. That's the job of the thought police, officer.

"...incompetency.... " It appears substantiation will be needed to adequately prove that assertion.

Unless Dody B. is a very convinicing liar, Sullivan is emotionally abusive to his wife. Cheated on her. Cuts her down in front of people. Fears of a balloon payment on his house and inability to buy a car made are why he 'volunteered' management duties at Parks and Rec. but demanded additional 10% pay when his own troops took the 5% pay cut.
Nothings say good leadership like 'do as I say not as I do.'

A barage of press releaes will not solve our crime and gang problems after years of neglect. Sullivan will retire in 1-2 years so whatever strategy he comes up with, he already knows he will not be around to care if it works or not.

While there are legitimate uses for medical marijuana, I find it very sad that some youth in our extended family were able to get a legal medical marijuana card in the Bay Area and as family we KNOW they do NOT have a medical need.

We are helpless as we watch them waste so much potential. Working low paying jobs to keep the habit going and staying wasted prevents them from caring enough to form any kind of life plan.

Woodland is not ready for this. Woodland PD is not able to deal with the crime we already have. This would only be adding fuel to the fire.

Do you know which doctor issued the card? I wonder if it would help to report them to the state board.
