Actually according to map robins do breeding in extreme north America. ( canada) in most of mexico they don't. They inhabit most if not all of usa. They learn to adapt like any creature of god to environment. I assume they eat alot in fall before cold sets in. It would be hard tp find a worm in frreezing cold. They do eat other things.fruit etc.
