Has anyone ever tried to recall any other former Taylor mayor?kicking the can down the road is hiaphazard to a city's budget. This mayor lamarand is doing things that have to be done. There r going to be critics but citizens should think logically on what is in a cities best interest.

Did you know Lamarand allowed police officers to retire at 15 years and they will average a $50,000 a year pension at average age of 37. 18 of them. Who will see a tax increase because of these retirements. THE TAXPAYER. All that experience. He promised no more lucrative retirements. They can take all that experience somewhere else and get a job at our expense.

This is logical thinking. Multiply just there retirements of $50,000 x 40 =2 million for each officer

Now they are down to 56 officers and a report this week shows crime up

Really Butch? Please stop misleading these people. You retired when you had 20 years or even less on the police force! What makes you any different sir? And guess where ALL of this pension stuff got out of control with...hmmmmmm. oh Yeah your good friend Kim Priebe was the one giving everyone their pensions like it was no ones business. So you are another one drawing a pension just as dispicable as the rest of them. Lamarand had to do this in order to get people in that are going to work for less and are younger. So go spit your lies somewhere else Thanks.
