Well according to the election's vote totals it seems there was widespread opposition rather than widespread approval.

Especially considering Prop. No. 1 was defeated with only $ 6K worth of grass roots funding,as opposed to $ 50K worth of "Engineering and Construction Interest" money, along with unprecendented Government Agency pressure at both the State and Federal levels.

It was interesting watching people see through the disingenousness of government employees using the "...chance of a Lifetime Opportunity, which will NEVER COME AGAIN" sales closing tactic.

Intelligent folks don't go for that from car salesmen, and they don't go for that nonsense from their Smiling Jack Political Cousins either.

Isn't common sense just terrific?
