On March 18, Scott Brodsky, owner of copier company Empire Digital Products, announces the success of the NY Islanders Sticks and Steaks event that took place on March 12 at 6:30 p.m.
Sticks and Steaks, an annual dinner with players from the Islanders, benefits the Islanders Childrens Foundation (ICF). The not-for-profit foundation was created in 2003 and has since raised more than $5 million to help children on Long Island. Partnering with The Hope Process, the Foundation works with other childrens charities that focus on health, education and youth ice hockey development and raises funds through various events like the Sticks and Steaks dinner.
