How is this even a news story? Icy roads cause accidents? really? I wasn't aware of the corrolation...thanks Newsday, as always a useless story.

BTW Newsday, I'm still waiting for some front page coverage of one of the 12 Americans killed everyday by illegal aliens (or undocumented immigrants as you call them) so we have a little balanced reporting with your Lucero 'hate' coverage that never quite addressed the true problems in patchogue and that is ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo...A billionaire slit his wrists because of his retarded "GET EVEN RICHER QUICK" scheme with Bernie Madoff "didnt pan out"...cry me a flippin' river! Tens of millions of Americans have lost their homes, their jobs, their pensions, EVERYTHING - and we're supposed to feel sorry for the BILLIONAIRE?!

I have to say... the best thing about reading Newsday online are these comments in the forums..

Many Long Islanders harbor A LOT of bitterness and anger... you see it everywhere...on the road, in the stores, in these forums..... why is that?

Overturning your car is a very bad thing to do. They work much better on there wheels. Please slow down and stay safe.

Closing the roads for a little icing? Really? How about just hoping that people licensed to operate a two-ton weapon traveling at insane speeds have the brains to slow the hell down?

Because they're spoled little brats who like everything to be easy and the same. Anything thats a little different is BAD, anything that doesn't go their way is BAD. If things were different in my life, i wouldve left this sht a long time ago and moved to the city--the only place thats poppin here in NY,

I'd like to thank the jagoff in the Navigator this morning who tailgated me all the way up Long Beach road to the SS Pkwy.

Watching him skid across the highway and crash into the cement divider as he tried to pass me from behind on the entrance ramp was extremely amusing.

Surprisingly, it takes very little to make a Navigator's hood crumple like an accordion. Go figure.
