he's a selfish a--hole in AA meetings 2. The exact opposite of the spirit of the program. So glad he's gone. Like a true sociopath, he gets a lot of people to sympathize with him. I just realized who he is today, but he turned me off right away. I have been involved in AA since 1997. We are supposed to help each other, but my radar still works. He is a minipulator. The spirit is to be humble-no matter what words come out of his mouth, he is not.
Don't know who you are... but you got a pretty good read... How many times did he attend the meetings you were at? seems like you hit the nail on the head!

I know Jeff from the meetings. He is humble and sorry for what he did. For those of you that really know him should know that. Its sad to see that other people from A.A. are saying things about him. The man is in jail for g-d sakes. He is humble and has a lot of gratitude. You obviously didnt know him that well. That could of been anyone of us in the rooms. Be greatful and caring.

Such distinguished company our friend keeps.
Donna Karan should be ashamed. At least keep Moss off the list. All the local newspapers should be ashamed as well for not reporting a single word about this wonderful person's association with Karan. This guy is tied in with a charity to help kids in Africa while he is killing and injuring people here.
Rememeber, it was not an accident. No one forced those intoxicants into his system before he got behind the wheel.
I know its hard for people to understand that this was an accident. But it was. Jeff suffers from a disease and he had no control over his actions. I am aware that a life was taken and its a tragedy. It was a truely an accident and he is very sorry.

Here we go again!!! He suffers from a disease? Well his disease took a life!!!!!!! A life that was worth 100 of him. He should have never been behind a wheel of a car! I am soooo sick of addicts saying they have a DISEASE! It's a CHOICE! CANCER is a disease.

He should have gotten more time behind bars. He is a self serving asshole. We hope he continues to suffer, even after jail.

Good Ridence!

Jeff Moss made a CHOICE that day to get behind the wheel of his Range Rover!

Yeah let's all feel sorry for the drug addict!
It was an accident, you say?
Well Jeff Moss is God's accident.

Look, I support people getting into AA and other 12-step type programs to battle their addictions, but don't you dare for a minute say "it was the disease" and he was not aware of his actions. Don't insult us with this inane disregard for personal responsibility and lack of regard for others because of your "disease."
You want hostility? Keep up your cult-ish rhetoric and you will be obliterated by ill-will and anger on a scale you are not accustomed to. Merry Xmas, responsibility-denying idiot.

>>Jeff was sentenced to prison for 6 years.<<

It was 2 to 6 years. Don't exaggerate. It won't be 6 years unless we are effective at his parole release decisions at convicing the State Division of Parole that it should be 6 years. That will mean some effort on our part to keep the victims in mind and to act on their behalf.

Don't think it should be 6 years? Consider what he pleaded guilty to...

Manslaughter in the Second Degree
Vehicular Manslaughter in the Second Degree
Assault in the Second Degree
Vehicular Assault in the Second Degree
Assault in the Third Degree - 5 counts
Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree
Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs
Driving While Under the Combined Influence of Drugs
Reckless Driving

I'm sorry if he's sorry, but we must all be responsible for our actions. Don't blame the drugs, or the law. He pleaded guilty to these things, being well aware of the sentence. Period. He agreed to the charges and to the sentence. Don't feel sorry for him - he accepted this.

He is only lucky that there wasn't an explosion that day. Did you see the wreckage? He could have been in jail for much, much longer. And, if he went through a trial, his sentence also would have been longer. 6 years isn't unreasonable - 2 years is too short, in my humble opinion.

amazing how you only get a 6 year maximum sentence for killing someone when it is totally your fault !!!
why dont we have stronger laws that protect the victims instead of the guilty ???

I hope he isnt dropping the soap !! ooppss

How do you know this? Is there an online source?
I must re-dedicate myself to constantly making sure people know what a disgusting monster this Moss creep is and how despicable Donna Karan and her reprehensible family are.

Pure, pure evil. All of them.
