Sad outcome, but at least this guy didn't take anyone else with him.

People have an unlimited capacity to give (and accept) love. When they lose track of that fact, little else matters.

I pray that you find peace now.

they should file posthumous criminal charges. committing suicide is a really a hole thing to do, especially in public. what a selfish jerk.

It's quite an accomplishment to pronounce such definitive judgment on a person when the news story provides virtually no information on that person or his circumstances AND make three spelling or punctuation errors is a six-word sentence.

Not worried about my spelling.
It seems you were able to decipher my point through the fog.
He would have faced charges of some sort having the cops called on him, therefor costing taxpayers money. Then testing for mental competence, then some treatment, then out patient care, then monitoring blah, blah, blah..........
He MAY have been able to pay for it or some of it but realistically do you think so?
Anyway, again I say thanks for saving us money sir.

It's always easy to be tough, insensitive, moronic, and outright stupid when you are anonymous and the stories don't affect your daily life.

I would be willing to bet the silent majority is much more compassionate.

Sad story.

Nope. Cottage Grove is in the Second district, not 6th. Must be a Clark fan. Speaking lies just like the candidate.

Anyone who brings up political BS after someone commits suicide is really just an idiot. You are a person who would just keep going if you were in the middle of nowhere and someone was having car trouble. You don't care about helping people, you care about pointing your finger and calling someone wrong when you don't even have a clue yourself.

And...it has nothing to do with Republicans or Bachman or spelling, morons.

If they hadn't shown up when his girlfriend called for help- God only knows what he would have done, as he was clearly not in a good state of mind. Then you'd be blaming the cops for not showing up to help when that's what they're paid to do. I am so tired of people like you constantly blaming brave police officers for all of life's problems. Maybe you should post your name, address and phone number on here so that in the future, police officers can call you in the middle of the night to handle these situations the "right" way. You can walk up to the suicidal man, who you KNOW has a gun, in a dark parking lot and work your magic!!! You seem to have all the answers of how to be a text book cop- but you're not willing to pick up the badge, gun and responsibility and put your skills to work.... too scared?
