Does Bowling Green KY have the MOST corrupt coppers in the US or WHAT? Never in my life have I seen a more twisted lot? Please tell me you don't breed them that way, you sent out for them and accidentally got a bad lot, right?

Ok, you've posted a comment but no where did you validate it. Why are they a twisted lot? What did you do to attract their attention? Why the sarcastic cheap shots?

I attracted no attention to myself. I spoke with a few people from that area and found out that they have this bogus charge that if it were REAL... pretty much everyone on a daily basis should be charged and found guilty of it. It is used to arrest people for whom they have no other charges to use.

Seriously; "wanting endangerment"? My whole karate team should have been arrested with that for SURE when they went to NYC. Naive and eager to test their skills, they climbed aboard the subways and rode for hours in the hopes that someone would attack them.

The name correction doesn't really make a whole hill of beans in the scheme of things.

It is still a bogus charge that is used in order for the coppers to get what they want... a better arrest quota.

And what's with the civil rights violations that are "wantonly" overlooked in the jail system there? Not allowing an inmate to take part in his own defense? Seems to me that someone needs to read the Constitution again, eh?

Wanton endangerment is a felony and is ABSOLUTELY not a charge that officers use just to get what they want.. that is absolutely ridiculous. It is very clearly defined in the KRS what constitutes that charge and is not something they use everyday. You sure are throwing around a lot of accusations with absolutely no concrete facts to back it up.

It IS a bogus charge, sticking a "felony" rating on it doesn't really change that.

Another unethical, while maybe legal ON PAPER thing that I've discovered is harassing someone about shoplifting, and waiting for them to deny it, and in a loud and boisterous way... THEN even after finding no merchandise, but continuing to antagonize the person, you roll it over into a robbery charge. That's dishonesty right there.

What "facts" would you like in order to back that up? The amount of times it has been used in order for the coppers to harass someone? If that, you can do the research and find that for yourself, I'm sure.

A cop pulled up at Minit-Mart while my friend was getting gas. He walks over to her and says don't i know you and she says know i don't think so. He says yeah i've been looking for you. An old warrant for bad checks. She showed him ID and even the workers at the store who also knew her verified She was not the person he had accused her off being. Long story short he arrest her on the warrant and she spent several hours in jail and then oh yeah your who your state issued id says you are. No appology or nothing she even had to pay the tow bill and impound fees to get her vehicle back. And then when she filed a citizens complaint what she got was a letter from the chief saying her allegations were unfounded and could not be proved or disproved. Never mind all the witness's at the Minit Mart who verified her Id and even asked the cop not to tow her car just let her leave it there. I don't know if that qualifies as corruption but it does prove the complete disregard for a citizens right's

It does qualify as corruption. It is just another glaring example of a money making racket.

The BGPD might as well be the BG Mafia. They operate autonomous of the law, yet enforce it to the nines when it works for them. Last summer two people I know were marked by the Chief for disagreeing with him. He had patrol cars tail both people to a restaurant and within minutes of each other got pulled over on suspicion of DUI after leaving. If that's not abuse of power I don't know what is. Don't think that would have happened to anyone living in Rivergreen. When I still lived in Louisville, I staggered my drunk ass home more time than I could possibly count. Here though, if they can catch you between the bar door and the cab door, you're going to jail. As long as don't stagger into traffic, or try to walk the yellow line back home, you'll never get messed with; they have better things to do. Here, we need more cops. They can't seem to stop a crime wave, but they'll gladly offer you a stay in the BGWC Hotel. What makes it worse is that while people are ripping stereos out of cars left and right by the Registry, they'd rather camp in they're cars in the drive thru at BB&T so they can grab you for that PI. Serve and protect my ass. It's not safe to walk from 440 to Utleys. Let's be real here folks; BGPD is a business. They money they make from hauling people in pays their salary and they have to haul people in. Plain and simple. I wish they could get past the idea that everyone in BG isn't some transient college kid and stop treating the citizens of this town as such.

Now there seems to be the facts an earlier idiot was looking for. I would hope the young lady sues BGPD, she appears to have a very good case. Damn the truth hurts huh!!!

I can provide you the arrest report with the officers badge # and witness statements from Minit Mart. and the officers file obtained through open records. This is not the place for that. However i will say that this particular officer has been employed for 2 yrs at the time and has 4 citizens complaints and has been written up twice for Attitude and not following procedure. Why is he still patrolling the streets when he obviouslly is on a massive power trip and even his superiors agree he has an attitude problem. Like i said this is not the place for personnal names or information but i am more than happy to prove this to you somehow. Also as far as the lawsuit situation there is some actions pending, I don't know the exact specifics of that since i haven't spoken with her in a few months.

Good luck with that. Suing a police department is a death sentence. First off, it's your word against a cops. And second, it's your word against a cops. Unless you can scrape some DNA from some part of your body, can match ballistics or have undeniable photographic proof...you'll never get a court to find in your favor against an "honorable" cop. Not gonna happen.

I agree this isn't the forum for personal information, but neither is it the forum for sarcastic attacks. That is what I've been suing. If it is true, I hope she sues and contrary to what the other individual states, the police department will take action. They've proven it a number of times. They've come a long way in the last 10 years and seem to be getting better every year. I just take exception to the several individuals who get on here and make a bunch of nasty comments because they're anonymous.
