Her staff messed up the billing really badly. Dr. told me she got nervous if the waiting room was crowded and then gave me trigger point injections in the wrong area.

Having accompanied my wife to an appointment with Dr. Sheila Jahan, I would like to honestly ask: what is this woman doing in the medical profession? My wife was experiencing a tingling sensation in her arms and legs and wanted to be examined. When Dr. Jahan entered the room, she started firing questions quickly at my wife. My wife, who is not a native speaker of English and was very distraught about her condition, tried to answer as best as she could. The first time my wife did not understand Dr. Jahan (who also has a thick foreign accent), yelled at her and proceeded to interview me concerning my wife's condition!!! After firing three questions at me, she preformed the most perfunctory neurological exam imaginable (i.e. can you move your legs and arms?) and stormed out of the room saying my wife should see a psychiatrist. I was appalled!!!!!

After having read the reviews on Dr. Jahan, I was skeptical to become her patient. However a friend of mine, who went through a series of inexperienced and impolite neurologists before finding Dr. Jahan, strongly encouraged me to visit her. I now can thank my friend for introducing me to the most compassionate and thorough physician I have ever met. Dr. Jahan made my condition her primary concern. While treating me she also focused on building a patient-physician relationship with me which made me view her as trustworthy and responsible. I think that those who have rude and incorrect statements to make about Dr. Jahan where probably seeking narcotics or false sick leaves/ immigration forms as opposed to real treatment and after Dr. Jahan was able to see right through their motives they in turn wrote such false reviews as a form of revenge. My response is to take my advice: if you are looking for an intelligent, caring, and thorough neurologist go to Dr. Jahan.

I've been a paytient with Dr. Jahan for three years to address my chronic migraines. Dr. Jahan is an honest medical practitioner who helped me with my condition. I would strongly reccomend her for her area of medicine. I truley don't understand why some of these comments are so negative towards her. She prescribed treatments have reduced the frequency of my migrains by over 50%, and the duration of these migraines by days.

Sheila Jahan, M.D. is an amazing doctor. Everyone in the office, especially her sleep techs and including herself are extremely professional and kind. As a patient I received the royal treatment and my condition is improving by day. I would recommend her to all!

Not sure I could ever see this doc after reading reviews. There should be no reason for these comments to be made unless there was a problem that the office or doc never worked out with the patient. There are plenty of docs that have many reviews and none like these.

Honestly, I am very thankful for Dr. Jahan. She practically saved my life. I was in and out of the hospital for several months because of migraines, and I seen 3 different doctors. They all told me that nothing was wrong and just take pain medicine. When I seen Dr. Jahan, she diagnosed me with Chiari malformation. Since then I have had surgery I am an doing well. Thanks to Dr. Jahan, I finally found out what was wrong with me and was able to correct the problem before I experienced paralysis.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jahan’s for over a year. I was referred to her after suffering a stroke. She began treatment by performing an examination that fully characterized my overall condition, established a baseline of my condition and began a treatment program that was a combination of rehabilitation and stabilization of my condition to reduce the likelihood of another stroke. I liked that approach and the desired outcome.
Her professional approach and treatment plan was very reassuring.
Her office staff is equally effective in dealing with their workload. While on a trip I found myself running low on medications and called her office. The staff phoned a “Bridge” prescription to a local pharmacy and I picked it up and didn’t miss taking a prescribed medication on time.

To anyone who decides to step foot in this doctors office, please be warned that you will be insulted. Dr. Jahan told me I was crazy and that my accent was compared to a person fresh of the boat. HOW DARE SHE!!! As a patient I would like to be treated with kindness, because I am bringing you business. On top of everything her accent was by far worse than mine. Shes rude and really needs to consider if being a physician is really what she wants to be, I suggest her to be a warden of a maximum security prison, will suit her perfectly. WARNING DO NOT VISIT THE LADY!!!!!!!

My friend refereed me to Dr. Jahan because of my chronic back pain and despite distance of my living area she managed to remotely give me very suitable medical advises after pinpointing the cause of my pain her treatments was really useful and I am really happy now living pain free after long time suffering.
I found her very professional in her field and she is very caring and knowledgeable I really thanks to my friend and his recommendation and Dr. Jahan. I really feel good and it is my duty to recommend her for other people with neurological condition.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jahan for the past 6 months. From our initial appointment, I knew I had finally found a neurologist that was willing to listen to me and work with me in formulating a treatment plan that was right for me. I am honestly baffled at the remarks that have been made by others on this page. Dr. Jahan has been consistently kind, respectful, and compassionate towards me and everyone in her office, including other patients and staff members. What I liked most about her was how she would make sure I understood the basis and process of each recommended treatment and medication before ending the appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Jahan to anyone who is in search of a smart, sharp, and dedicated physician.

After having seen the doctor several times over the past six months I would give her a rating of 4 out of 5. When I first saw her the staff was very cold and I was not sure about the doctor herself. However, after the next visit the coldness that I saw quickly dissolved and in fact they all were very kind and caring. It is because of the first visit that I lowered the score to a 4. Additionally the doctor know her stuff. My family doctor (who does nor know this one) has told me she is taking the steps she would expect in my treatment and felt I was in great care. I would recommend the doctor to others you are in great hands.

Her waiting room has waaay too many people waiting and not enough seating. The staff ignored me the 1st time, they were too busy training someone new. Every time I went there were new people- too much turn over. When I offered to pay my co-pay they were shocked. However the Dr was extremenly nice, took time even though she kept things moving along, offered advice my past sleep doctors had not and I would see her again. I do not like the fact that the sleep study is split into 2 sessions. Who has extra $ for that? When I have to call I have problems, she is in the other office and no one calls her to get my question answered. They say they will wait until she's in this office!!! Then they forget to ask.

This woman is incompetent and rude.

My wife had severe dizziness and went to Dr. Jahan for an MRI and an EEG. When the results arrived the following day, Dr. Jahan refused to provide them over the phone, instead insisting that my wife - who you may remember has severe dizziness - come into the office to receive the results in person the following week because she didn't have any appointments until then.

When I heard this story later that night, I called her office. There was no voice messaging, and her web site does not have an e-mail address, so I had her paged. When she answered, I accused her of withholding the results so that she could charge the insurance company for an unnecessary office visit, and I informed her that such behavior constitutes fraud. Dr. Jahan became irate and told me that paging her was inappropriate because paging is for emergencies only, and she hung up.

The phone rang ten minutes later and she provided us with the test results. Then she called me an idiot and hung up again.

Not surprisingly, the doctor's analysis of the test were at odds with the doctor we replaced her with.

I cannot encourage people strongly enough to stay as far away from this doctor as you can. I also plan to report her to the insurance company and the licensing board.
