That is THE most assinine thing I've heard lately (outside of what congress is doing).

I've owned "pets" all my life and the LAST thing you want is a family who does it for a poppy cause. An animal is God's creature and he expects people to take care of them properly. If you can't get their shots, neuter them, feed them properly, treat them properly, take time for them, it's best just to leave it alone.
