FYI, this is a free and democratic country and everyone is allowed to celebrate their culture and ethnicity. So please think before making such insensitive comments!

The best is when the Indian kids in my son and daughters school say their parent told them "they can't play with them because he or she is an American!" Or "Indians rule Americans drool" I thought they were American, too. How sad! What is happening to this country, town? If my caucasian child said something negative or bullied another race... they would be expelled. No tolerance..RIGHT! Please pack up and go back to India you are ruining our town and country! What a bunch of back stabbing, conniving, take what you can get and run back to India race of people! I would never say that to anyone but they really know what they are doing to our country and we bent over and took it with a smile, without knowing what the real plan was. Now the reality is setting in. Goodbye IT jobs in the US. Goodbye to our country as we know it. Thank the gov't for the H1-Visa. Hip Hip Hooray let's give them a parade!

looks bunch of uneducated people here..@landofedison , sorry you feel that way, but you need some reading and understanding of issues if its not too difficult for you. Just google it to learn some realities, like how are jobs created, lost to foreigners etc. I wouldn;t even want to waste time here for Indian parade crap.. who cares?

Baseball? someone actually still watches that crap sport? As far as the brown people, it is kinda stupid in a way that they are celebrating the independence of another country in tis country. But I guess that's why we are the land of the free and the home of the brave. Honestly though, It's one thing to celebrate religious or cultural festivals, cause that's what this country is about, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc. But celebrating another countries independence is kinda confusing to me.

Soryy pea-brain oops I meant the fucknut "tell it like it is". Retards like you bring people from other countries. UNDERSTAND what I said, and get some education so no brown people come here and parade on your face. If you have guts, I will ship my baseball bat to shove up your ass.

I think you all are confused people. I do not see anything anything wrong in the parade. I see many indians participating in all events in my community more than any other etnicity. they are far better than other country people responsible for crime, and terrorist attacks. I think the real problem we are facing is from country like china, killing most of our jobs where average american is put out of job due to substandard imports. I don't think that Indian should not be allowed. If they celebrate memorial day and 4th of July why cannot we merge with them and celebrate india day parade. Mostly people are frustrated towards Indian because they have problem with their big house and job. But no matter what most of them are hard working.yes they don't behave like we do but thats why they are different from us other wise what differenc does it make? Also treat everyone equally where is that guys?

I agree! I have the unpleasant opportunity of doing business with these people. Some are rude, disrespectful and they feel they dont need to pay for services rendered. I'm in the IT business. I wish immigration would review these visas more closely.

If they dont get what they want they scream discrimination.

Well and good but don't dis- respect the Veterans by taking symbols of freedoms we fought for ( iwo jima image) and pasting the Indian Flag over our flag. That was disgusting and every Indian over here needs to apologize or leave this country.
Before being an Indian, I am a human being and I 100% agree with what you experienced. Please tell me how fair is it to blame whole country for this.
I respect not only America but every country and the sentiments of their people (Including Pakistan), I would like to be the first person to put any countries flag at its honorable designated place. I respect every nation , i am not sure , but i surely respect human beings, every living beings, respect their sentiments, values, culture and believes as long as they are not against any other human being.
I never work with a colleague who is from China or Japan or American, frankly i cannot think so else i won't be able to work, I only work with other human who are true professional or have their won limits (as every one has).
What you mentioned about a particular countries people in general, don't you think you face same type of people as your countrymen as well. Your complain is more about a human nature , but that is something which cannot be fixed, specially in professional world where you work with so many different people. You like some and you don't like others that is fair enough, but making any judgmental decision based on it is not fair.
