Reforms should include handgun controls

There are 12 comments on the The Day story from Mar 8, 2013, titled Reforms should include handgun controls. In it, The Day reports that:

A woman, who lost her 19-year-old son to gun violence in New Haven last year, asked a disturbing question at the Connecticut Capitol the other day: Where do the killers get their guns? "How could these little kids just be running around with these guns? They must be coming from somewhere," said Kim Morrell, whose son's murder remains unsolved.

Has Governor Malloy, President Obama, Vice President Biden, Dianne Feinstein and all the other members of clan-of-the-idiots ever sat down and thought this one basic thought? What IF there IS no solution to the violence? What IF there was nothing that ANYONE could do?
They may be searching for answers that just are NOT there. Grasping at straws, hope for the best, generate new laws in hopes that the new ones will stem the violence.....the list can go on and on.
As long as you have 2 people on earth, there will be violence. It's in our blood. Man will kill. These clan idiots will never understand that and they are just spinning their wheels.

Yes, on the real issues this group seems to sing, "If I only had a brain" pretty regularly. Notice though none of the other shooting tragedies had anywhere near this kind of media exposure, gifts, tributes, funds, memorials or playgrounds built. Notice we don't have any truth yet about this shooting, that would just confuse what these politicians are doing. They are running their anti-gun platform in the name of public safety when it is really their own they want to insure. It seems to be getting close to the truth coming out about how we've been robbed for so long. I don't think the "powers that be" want to see us show up at their door demanding our money back with much more than sticks. In that anti-gun rhetoric by Feinstein and Blumenthal are provisions that the rules DO NOT APPLY TO THEM. So when we finally get together the politicians want to be the only ones with guns. It's all wag the dog. Did you hear that the insurance industry is opposed to providing gun insurance for all owners? The politicians will pass laws to put the price so far out of reach we won't be able to afford it anyway. I'm sure the Insurance Industry,(Started in Hartford), is only looking for a way to word things so they will not be liable for any shootings. DemocRats suck.

Sam - friendly advice: shut up and don't tell people you have guns to begin with. They're nobody's business except yours and the loser you're pointing one at in your living room at 3AM.

I wonder if Dianne Feinstein owns a gun. I know that she has security guards but maybe she's packing and keeps it hush hush. Probably has a 45 stuffed up her.....
Nawww...those things are noisy and dirty and oily and besides, she might shoot her eye out!

It cannot be said enough: if the laws ALREADY ON THE BOOKS were being properly and conscientiously enforced then the newtown shooting/tragedy/armageddon/ "learning experience" (yes, it was called that)/fiasco/whatever wouldn't have happened to begin with.

I remember 5th street. It used to be a real nice, quiet neighborhood where you could live and walk safely. I haven't been down that way in years only because I can't get the National Guard to go with me!
