The problem with these “stand your ground” laws is older white men are deliberately picking fights with younger minority males and then claiming “self defense” after they shoot.

I have seen privileged white males with concealed carry permits go out and think that their concealed carry permit is some sort of a badge and they are now semi-police.

Stand your ground is a license to kill. Any minor arguement can exculate to a lethal force situation just because someone has a weapon and 'feels' threatened. The concept of avoiding conflict has been replaced with 'come and get some'.

'Stand your ground' laws are good laws, but the abuses and legal 'dodging' have made it look that way (license to kill). That guy in Fl. who killed his wifes lover, he should've been found guilty.

As for "older white men are deliberately picking fights with younger minority males and then claiming “self defense”.... I don't agree with that...and if someone IS guilty of that, I feel they should be convicted of no less than manslaughter. JMO.

Lecter, my property is posted with "No Trespassing" So if you disregard that and continue on, expect to be challenged, peacefully.

Damn man, home invasion and burglary are becoming dangerous. I think I'm gonna just apply and get me some of that Social Security Disability Insurance (SSI). I've developed a nervous condition from this type of work so I'm sure I'm covered now that Obama is in office.

I wish Washington would just hurry up and pass a gun control law and disarm them honkies. In that case I would not need disability insurance, I could continue my work in safe conditions.
