In that case, I'll have to go with Sweat.

They will have to figure out a way to get Sweat up onto the bench. That long, 45 degree ramp behind the dais will kill him sure as hell.

They could remove the ramp and install a hydraulic wheelchair lift. They are readily available. Just put some hand rails on it. A 600 pound lift capacity should be sufficient.

"Jeremy Spencer would have raised my water rates!"

Feel free to use that, candidates.

I hope the T&G will publish the break down of the votes by precinct. That should be very informative.

I wonder if Martin Gillette could volunteer to serve until Beau is recovered from gastric by-pass surgery?

Not being an ass. I would really like to see Sweat live the entirety of his first term to avoid yet another election expense.
His prospects don't look good at the moment.

You ought to try to get in on a two fer. At 350 pounds, you don't have room to talk. Besides, many people are spontaneously "cured" of diabetes following gastric by-pass surgery. You could put away the serving fork and spoon and eat with normal utensils like the rest of us.

Well, excuuse me!

I thought I was doing the Christian thing.

Doesn't Christian tradition require that you harangue and denigrate fat sinners to save them from the sin of gluttony?

So many of you have graciously tried to save me that way that I felt obliged to return the favor.

Get off of it Moreno, Robert Sweat is going to be the Judge of Probate Court. He is the only one running that can understand what is coming down from Atlanta and the Fed's. We should be thankful someone is willing to straighten this out. Hold on that court house is going to get a good cleaning out.
Camden has a spot light on it every sense Judge Williams was forced to retire or else.

St. Marys is in for a few surprises as well.

"St. Marys is in for a few surprises as well."

Did you mean that Judge Sweatt will somehow screw with St. Marys or did your train of thought just jump the track?

BTW, during the last two runoff elections in Camden, the one that had the most votes in the first election, did not win the runoff.

With this many people in the general election you have a valid point about the runoff election. However, 90% of the time the top vote getter in the general election wins the runoff. Please up date us on an election where the out come is different ?
