This is the good one.

Doors to the Eagles Aerie in St. Marys (Industrial Drive)open at 5:30 for schmoozing.

The forum actually starts at 6:30.

I assume that Ed Clary will be doing his usual masterful job as emcee.

Hopefully, Chief Horton has had them correct the fire trap front door as I requested months ago.

I hope you don't plan to attend the form. I might also mention that it is illegal to carry a gun into the Eagles. So Jay Moreno We plan to search and cease any weapon found on your body. I think we can also perform a cavity search as long as we have a Doctor present. Water hoses are out back for anyone that objects.

Really. Why? The ban on weapons at public gatherings was lifted several years ago.

Can you cite the section of Georgia law that makes it illegal for a citizen with a valid concealed weapons permit to carry it to a candidate's forum?

You seem to be very interested in catching me out and vulnerable to attack without a weapon. Why is that?

Why would anyone want to attack a sweet older gentleman?

Do the Eagles had a no carry policy in their building? If they don't want guns, they should be able to prohibit them in their building. After all, it's their liability.

Here you go, Commie-Lib, bed- wetting, anti-Second Amendment pansies.

Read and learn what the law of Georgia actually says about concealed carry. Clearly, you squeamish pooftas don't have a clue.

Go over and place your good question to be asked with back up information that can be verified it just may get asked. It would also help if the questions were left at the Eagles ahead of time so that they can be verified as being the truth.

I do indeed.

You do realize that any attempt to do what you have suggested will constitute assault and battery and put me in legitimate fear of my life, right.

that sounds like another threat.

I am not sure why Jay would feel like he has to have a gun with him at a candidate's forum; however, I can see why others would NOT want him to have one!!

When dealing with psychotics, it is difficult to know when some small trigger might set them off.
He definitely should not be carrying a gun when he enters that building, especially if Alex is around.

There is a wonderful web site that Jay Moreno should consider going to:
www.hemorrhoids.org
Get rid of that hemorrhoid that is bothering you. Do it quickly and efficiency.
Now you know how to get rid of that pain in the jackass.

Well, I just got back from the candidates' forum.

As expected, none of you heroes tried to disarm me.

Comrade Kearns little hysterical pumpkin head was no more than 15 feet in front of me.

There was - and never is - any alcohol, served or allowed in the meeting room. Give up.

Now, rather than a forum which brought out any difference between the candidates, a civility fest broke out right at the outset.

Apparently, ubiquitous civility is the new sine qua non in St. Marys politics. To hell with substance.

One good thing about it is that we have a very high probability of seeing the best mayor and council in at least 20 years if not the entire history of St. Marys.

If Nutter is elected, he will be a pain in the ass but the remainder of the council can impose time limits on him and render him legislatively impotent.

Don't be surprised if the actions of a Councilman Nutter will, once again, result in a lot of unnecessary billable hours for the city attorney.

Artie Jones was in south Florida on church business. As I understand it, he is a "high priest" in his church. Rather like a Catholic or Episcopal bishop.

By the way, when I voted in Woodbine today, Larry Johnson's name was still on the ballot.

Apparently, he could not make it to the city clerks office to withdraw as he wanted to.

John informed the citizen attendees at tonight's forum - all 36 of us - that Larry is receiving therapy for his post-qualification stroke as an inpatient over at the old St. Marys Nursing Home, if anyone would like to send him a card or visit.

Thanks Mr. Moreno for the insightful update. The civility fest points to the possibility of a mayor and council where ever vote will be unanimous. Even more important that Nutter gets elected. Us taxpaying citizens who support this sicko city government would at least like to be told how the real estate cartel is going to screw us next. Nutter may be the only candidate who will have the balls to disagree and state a descending opinion.

Sounds like Kearns is refusing to allow a known stalker to disrupt her life. Good for her. Nutter score huge points tonight. He was on point, clear, concise and outspoken. We all enjoyed the 30 minutes before the forum started and shared some great Moreno stories. When he came whizzing in at the last minute, looking like a refugee from a boy's home it was one of the highlights of the evening.
