That's what I figured.

Hopefully, whatever you did that deserved my opprobrium is something that you will never do again.

Good luck with that.

The majority of our city council are made up of "tools". We the tax payers have a responsibility to use these tools, hold them accountable, and ensure the splost fund are spent correctly. We must demand an open book policy including all existing funds from splost 6.

Good luck. Corruption and crooked practices in local government was started decades ago by the same people now complaining about it. Open books don't help when the books are cooked.

No Jay, the things you said about me were complete fabrications, all lies. And then you went on to say mean things about my wife.

I am one of those who you say are on your list for libel suits. I welcome you to follow through on your threats. I have a nice file on you, with copies of the libelous lies that you spread about me.

What happened decades ago was the apathy of voters due to population growth and riding the economic boom.

This city government as in the past think their primary duty is expansion thru real estate development.

They have demonstrated their lack of ability to function in a management capacity. Some examples are removing garbage collection, a water/sewer debt of 44 million, ending management of the aquatic park and their attempt to remove police and fire protection as a responsibility.

They will eventualy have nothing left other then spending tax dollars on special interest groups.

Removing Chuck Trader from council demonstrated the ability of the public to finally make a stand and change direction. We must stay active!!

The new truck stop should bring in enough revenue to keep property taxes in St Marys from going up for years.

What proof do you have that they get kickbacks?

Well, you poor baby, why don't you tell us who you are? I'm just before coming into some money. It would be worth your while -unless of course you are totally full of shit and would be laughed out of court.

Come on, nutless, put your name and your money where your mouth is.

Has the City manager released exactly how and when the splost funds will be transferred over to the water sewer bond debt? Will the Gals at the Tribune, after kissing the ass's of the chamber of commerce, investigate and write about the progress of the Grand Plan?

I'm waiting and watching.

Do I detect a certain distrust of the City to do the right thing and pay this off. Surely you do not think they would dip into these funds.

With the reputation of cisco gave it and the money truckers and trucking companies have lost because of the state getting paid off the gas is less in fla. now it was the cheaper but now you add about .08 per gallon with SPLOST. Take a ride to Glynn county gas is cheaper there. So why would a truck stop here to fill up when he can go 36 miles and get it cheaper. The average 18 wheeler holds 300-350 gallons so thats saving 24-28 dollars on a fill up and if the is the part about credit there is a Petro at exit 36 with a TSA.

Splost 6 initially promised the voters that over 80% would go towards infrastructure. Currently less than 18% was used. The "never to cost the tax payers a penny" aquatic park got a make over and does't orange hall look pretty? Dip into funds? No we just change where the funds go.

61% of such a small turn out means nothing. Most opponents new from the start it was a lose-lose proposition.
The majority of voters that showed up were either frightened of a miliage hike, had a hand in the special interest slush fund or like you who will always vote for a tax.
I was unaware your favorite politician Jeremy actually held an office. In the coming years if the current elected officials continue to plunder the splost funds there will be plenty of available seats on the City Council for Jeremy.
May the good Lord spare us from another Spencer. Dumb and dumber twins are a menace. Radical whackos that are Jim Jones type. Jason is the black sheep of all legislators and his dip stick brother is just an example of idiots who can cite all sorts of problems but have no answere to any.

When its time to vote for Jeremy. The status quo of the St. Marys city council voting block is long overdue for a change. Thank you.

I think petro has a very good reputation, but if you were a trucker that had to purchace 350 gallons of fuel and there is a petro 36 miles up the road that is .08 cheaper on the fuel would you wait that 36 miles. or if coming south would you buy it 36 miles sooner because of just the bad taste in your mouth
