Fictional Newspaper "The Camden Press"

Funny thing came in the mail today along with the rest of the junk. A new paper titled "The Camden Press". At first I'm thinking "more to read, yay", until I actually start reading it. All I can think after reading it was whether or not Bill Smith could possibly be any more obvious in his advertising schemes. A free copy sent out right before voting that just happens to be filled over half with positive things about Bill Smith and a few unpleasant articles about Sheriff Gregory. Plus the multiple full page ads saying to vote for Bill Smith. I seriously hope I wasn't the only not fooled by this joke of journalism. The one-sided journalism in this paper is right on par with the likes of FOX "news".

Yeah you are a FOOL all you got to do is let your fingers do the walking on GOOGLE the newspaper is as real as the Jillbune & Gorge Un , it is owned by the same person who also owns and prints four other papers in nearby counties and who is opening and office in Camden for this new weekly paper.
Oh, and please notice the "Jill" in Jillbune and the Gorge as in she wolfs down all the food she can to add inches to here already rotund persona.

Yeah, it's almost as one-sided as the T&G! I've never seen a more biased paper in my life. The T&G might as well be one big Tommy Gregory political ad. I love how when they give an opinion, it's like "We at the T&G....", at least have the balls to write your name under the article title. I doubt everyone there wants their name attached to those B.S. "articles"! They wonder why people cancel their subscriptions everyday, or don't allow them to renew!

Reading the Tribune on page 6 was a copy of a check. I don't think they would have printed unless it was real.

For those of you who apparently lack the intelligence to understand what I meant by "fictional" is that it is a paper designed for the purpose of electing back into office a man who lost last time for good reason. T&G reports on information. They do not TELL you what to think or WHO to vote for. It's not their fault that Bill Smith refuses to do an interview with them. So it sounds like I was the only one not fooled by it. That's saddening :(

OMG, I just saw that their "home office",with a staff of 3, is located in -wait for it - Ludowici, GA!!!
Long time Georgians will recognize it as the generational home of filthy politics - even filthier than Camden's storied past.

Just read the anti-Gregory letter from a fired CASO deputy on the next to last page. Incredibly, where one would find the letter writer's name in a legitimate newspaper, there are only the words "Name Withheld by Request." Unbelievable.

I bought a new freezer. It was delivered last weekend. I had planned on making a trip to Kingsland Meats today to fill it up. However, now that I see they have advertised in this yellow rag, I'm going to wait to see if they do it again. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they did not realize what filth they were associating with. If they advertise in there again, it's back to Winn Dixie.

I, for one, will not patronize any business that supports this kind of filth.

To leap from there to the assumption that if the T&G allowed it to be publihed, it is not a fraud or that it represents any wrongdoing whatsoever on the part of Sheriff Gregory is Camden politics at its traditional filthiest. Lying against your opponenet in the last edition of the local before the election election is time-dishonored Camden filth.

If an officer lost a badge, or claimed to upon termination, would it not make sense for the Shedriff to demand that he pay for it?

Apparently you are the one lacking intelligence. Why would Smith sit down with a paper that is blatantly biased against him. That would be like a man be accused of animal crueltly, pleading his case to twelve dog and cat owners. They would hae already convicted him before he even opened his mouth, so why bother?

What a laughable rag the Camden County Press is. The "writing", the lay-out, the caliber of printing - the whole thing looks as if it was thrown together by a group of grade three students and written by Smith himself.

I've seen the check. The badge and case were sold to a civilian. It's not payment for a lost badge. It's not photoshopped or re-touched. It's not a deposit. TOMMY SOLD A BADGE.
