Exactly the same in dollars.

The difference is you directly blame goverment when they screw with your savings accounts. With splost you blame Arabs or the dairies for the total cost of gas and milk.

The government of Cyprus takes up to 10% off the top of all savings accounts!!! The more you save the more they steal. Think it couldn't happen here, wrong.

With the US economy firmly in the control of the (privately owned) Federal Reserve crooks and the U.S. Treasury Department, they can do anything they want.

Remember when Bush's Treasury Sec.(Gold Sacks CEO) went to Congress and demanded one trillion dollars to give to the Wall Street banks in October, 2008. He got it. Remember when the General Motors CEO and the Auto Union demanded a bail out by the US tax payers in 2009? They got it.

The Federal Reserve under CZAR Bernakke is already stealing from your bank accounts. By inflating away your bank accounts value, you are silently being fleeced. The government says there is no inflation, the government lies. Anyone who has shopped on the US economy for the past few years knows the government is lying.

You are right. There is zero competition in banking due to the Fed's. The billions that was once payed out on CD/account interest is now reinvested internally.

The secure CD retirement plan is long gone resulting in the current stock market boom.

When the bull market run ends, the rich have been totally squeezed, it will be time to watch out for you bank accounts and a couple new Splosts.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Leo

Don't be afraid to voice your opinions today, even if you suspect that they aren't what everyone is expecting to hear. It's important to speak your mind, and there's no need to worry about treading on anyone's toes or sounding outrageous because that isn't very likely at all. If you're talking to someone, your conversation may take an unconventional turn that you weren't expecting.
