My understanding is all of the other judges in the Brunswick circuit are up for re-election (also 4 year terms) in Nov. 2012. So far I have not heard of anyone running against judges Scarlett, Kelley, Wilkes or Harrison.

Judged: 4 3 2 She is a great judge who does not tolerate BS. We need more like her across the State and maybe the crime rate would not be as bad. When one of these thugs rob your family member and or assaults one of your family members, you will be screaming that no one does their job. I say give the woman judge of the year. She runs the court room and this is all politically motivated because she pissed some lawyer off because she could not be persuaded. Good Luck judge. Some of us still care about justice. |

Judged: 1 "she can be harsh, that is the nature of someone who cares" This does not even make sense! It is contradictory. I suspect that you have the same kinds of problems that she does. God help you both. |

Yes, Jan, people can and do change, but a person's character does not.
You sound like a nurturing caring person as well. Such folks as you and Judge Williams will do well in the private sector "helping" drug addicts and such. We simply don't believe these kinds of swaggering, self-agrandizing Samaritans have a place on the public dole. |

Judged: 2 1 1 Your whole statement is a contridiction in terms. You start by saying how wonderful & fair JAWS is and then you turn right around and want to know when we stopped holding people accountable for their actions. Well wake up buttercup because this is Judge Amanda Williams being held accountable for numberous actions of abuse of power which will no doubt cost several counties a bundle of money in civil suits. |

Did she resign? Are things being kept quiet?
