I think its even more stupid with that bill is they can change a law at anytime and only has to post the new law at the court house.

I think they have to publish changes in laws regarding hunting and fishing. That said it is still just another layer of crap with a future eye on licensing fees. Wait until they start regulating the amount of ammo you can purchase in a 12 month period.

This appears to be a poor attempt at starting a program for forced data collection. Waving this carrot of not registering with the feds already exists.

NOAA saltwater registry "As of January 1, 2011, if you have a saltwater recreational fishing license or registration from any state or U.S. territory EXCEPT Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, you are AUTOMATICALLY registered and do not need to take further action."

Will the next step be season stamps for your fish.
