Is the $3,000,000.00 St Marys Hospital Authority slush fund being used to fund parties and entertainment for cetain seniors at the St Marys senior center?
The relationship between the Senior Center, the Hospital Authority and that Judge that issued the 2007 ruling needs to be examined? Wasn't that Judge's name Amanda Williams?
No it was not Judge Williams. The money currently cannot be used to pay off debt...only to fund indigent patient care. It appears the goal should change the law so that the Authoirty ( an unelected board) does not have control over the funds...it should be back in the hands of the Council and earmarked for the seniors.

No it should not be earmarked for "certain senior" deadbeats sucking at the public trough. The money should be taken from the HA and returned to St Marys city council for use to benefit all citizens of St Marys; The old hogs and sows downtown have been sucking at the public trough long enough.

In theory I agree with you but the reality is that the Senior Center has become political taboo to touch. So if the Council has control of the money, at least that will follow the normal appropriations process through a representative form of government. It should not be controlled by an unelected board...at all.
