Just saw in tonights paper that Chariho is expanding again this year. The VoTech is going to be bigger.
Makes perfect sense. So now there will be more Chariho VoTech students in the unemployment lines. It must be great spending 4 years learning a trade, only to spend the next five years after graduation unemployed.

I sometimes think that the administration of Chariho has very little interest in children. The more they can push through the system the more the little kingdom of Chariho can demand from the local communities.
The best opportunity from Chariho graduates was McDonalds. Even that has drawbacks. The Hope Valley McDonalds last summer laid off all the local kids.

The McDonalds in Hope Valley did it again. Layed Off all the local kids and brought in a group of Chinese Kids. As I understand it, you get a short term visa, and there are brokers that will place the foriegn students in work. I don't know if they get Minimum wage, since they are not citizens.
The RI Dept of Labor came down last year and gave their blessing.
Probably a good thing. Our kids better get use to living on the street, or only getting unemployment, after all there is nothing else. Or maybe they should go to college and acrue $60,000 in student loan dedt only to find out they are back at McDonalds.
