Obamanomics, the law of unintended consequences! This is what happens when you
a) Saddle businesses with a host of new regulations that it more difficult for them to start or operate. It means less new businesses = less jobs
b) Hit them with taxes related to expanded healthcare. It causes them to hire as few ‘full time’ employees as possible = less jobs.
c) Create uncertainty over capital gains taxes. It causes less private equity investment = less jobs.
d) You borrow from the private sector to expand government spending, a more inefficient type of spending, which staves the more efficient private sector = less jobs.
e) You devalue the currency, making imported raw materials more expensive (oil, iron ore, etc), any gains in cheaper production costs are offset by more expensive raw material cots = less jobs.
f) You threaten business and use them as a scapegoat for your failed programs = less jobs
g) You raise the minimum wage. It is an economic truism that anytime you make things more expensive people use less of it = less jobs.
f) You threaten to raise income tax which results in less discretionary spending and less saving/ investment = less jobs.
g) You threaten penalize companies and people for being successful, they leave and take their business and money with them = less jobs.
Class warfare is great politics but bad business and if you want jobs…you want business
When most of us get these sorts of ideological distortions of the facts in our email, we just delete them rather than embarrass ourselves by passing them on.

Just a tip.:-)

There are some frightening similarities between the current Republican Party and the KKK. And right wingers, don't get mad. Just admit that this is true:
1)The KKK and the GOP are both very strong advocates for state rights.l
2)The KKK and the GOP both hate Black anti-racist watchdog groups like the NAACP. also, the KKK and the GOP HATE black anti white racism fighters like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, John Lewis, etc.
3)The KKK and the GOP both hate social safety net programs because they benefit some black people
4) The GOP and the KKK are both passionately against a woman's right to choose (But the KKK is at least honest enough to admit that their opposition to abortion is soley because white babies are aborted. KKK admits that they could give a damn about black and hispanic babies being aborted, something that the GOP is too dishonest to admit)
5) The KKK and the GOP both passionately hate President Obama, and call him names like "Sambo,Stymie, communist, socialist, fried chicken eater, etc."
6) The KKK and the GOP both hate public schools (primarily because they believe that it gives black males and white females too much of an opportunity to date)
7) The KKK and the GOP both hate labor Unions (both are also opposed to the minimum wage
8) The KKK and the GOP both passionately hate LIBERALS,, which needs no further explaining.
9) The KKK and the GOP both admire Ronald Reagan (KKK endorsed Ronald Reagan in both 1980 and in 1984)
10) The KKK and the GOP both claim to be staunch Christians (Of course, here is the contingency -- all the Biblical Characters, and Jesus, have to be white, like in the movies e.g. Passion of Christ, King of King, etc.)
And these are only a few of the very disturbing similarities between the KKK and the GOP.
KKK members are conservatives so of course they have the same characteristics as the Republican party, which is also conservative.

It reminds me of this list that I saw some time ago:

Death Penalty:
Liberals: Oppose
Conservatives: Support
al Qaeda: Support

Women's rights:
Liberals: Support
Conservatives: Oppose
al Qaeda: Oppose

Equality for homosexuals:
Liberals: Support
Conservatives: Oppose
al Qaeda: Oppose

Woman's right to choose:
Liberals: Support
Conservatives: Oppose
Al Qaeda: Oppose

Separation of church and state:
Liberals: Support
Conservatives: Oppose
al Qaeda: Oppose

Conservatism and fundamentalism are two sides of the same coin. Of course they look alike.

Thats your problem,if you dont agree with it, it doesnt make it wrong it just makes you think its all bogus. Your opinion is not the only one that matters. Articles written for both sides of the aisle can be true or false. Lots of information out there can be spun in either direction. We all get our information from the internet, newspapers, radio and TV.
We can only believe what we want to believe. Just because you agree with someone doesnt make it right or wrong and sometimes the real truth really doesnt get told unless you were there to hear it.

This is why you do away with the IRS and make a flat tax that everyone pays but the millionaires and billionaires cant write their fortunes off and end up paying next to nothing. We dont need the IRS with a flat tax, omit the middleman and the government can save billions a year. it would never get on the floor for voting..just ask your state rep or senator...LOL!

There is an objective, empirical reality where things really happen or do not happen. The world isn't simply a compilation of various opinions - facts and reality actually exist.

I agree with that reality, but my agreement isn't what makes it right. It is right whether or not anyone agrees with it.

If you choose to live in a world with no right or wrong and it's all just a matter of opinion, fine. I'll stick with what's real, thanks.

The IRS Mistakenly Exposed Thousands of Social Security Numbers
Another day, another slipup by the Internal Revenue Service.
The incident involves the unwitting exposure of "tens of thousands" of Social Security numbers, according to a recent audit by the independent transparency and public-domain group Public.Resource.org . The identifying numbers were on the Internet for less than 24 hours after being discovered, but the damage was done. And unfortunately, the data-breach concerns some of the most sensitive types of transactions: Those made by nonprofit political groups known as 527s.

So what's the connection between incompetent bureaucrats and Obama's legacy?

Oh wait - this is just more of Legacy's typical BS - blaming the President for everything bad that happens in the world.

Just another opinion blog among thousands you have posted proving once again that you are a mindless robot for your government God.

Both sides are corrupt and the American people have very little faith with them. You on the other hand continually make excuses and flat out lies to protect the nanny state you desire. If Obama says it, its gospel to you.

All your blog had to do was claim a flat tax would hurt the poor and your robotic liberal mind computes it to be bad. Might be time for you to re boot.

The real problem is the top brackets are set too low relative to where the money is. The top-most bracket starts at $375,000 a year. People with incomes higher than that pay 35 percent – again, only on that portion of their incomes exceeding $375,000.

This is absurd. It means a professional who’s making, say,$380,000 a year pays the same income-tax rate as a plutocrat pulling in $2 billion or $20 billion.

Our current flat tax at the top is treating the nation’s professional class exactly the same as it treats super-rich plutocrats. I dont recall any poor politician making ther laws. The rich make the laws to benefit them. Any ass can agree with that

There is a difference between fact and opinion.

It is a fact that the poor will pay more under a flat tax and the rich will pay less. That is a fact.

The opinion is - that's wrong and unfair.

I bash Bush every day here?

You are lying.

The only time I bring up Bush is when rightwingers blame Obama for things Bush did or when rightwingers feign outrage for Obama doing the same thing Bush did (when they had no trouble with it then).

I'm not bashing Bush. I'm bashing the hypocritical right who can't take responsibility for the disaster their policies caused.

you have me mixed up with someone else i merely was saying EVERYONE pay a flat tax, i dont care if its 2%,10% or 50%.make it across the board.......... thats the fairest way,is it the sympathy of the poor fair.......well no.....but it is fair for all... someone shouldnt get a free ride all their lives without contributing...people ask me if i give to any charities....i say yep......the federal government....and it's more than 10% of my salary

so someone making 100 million pays a flat tax ..say 5%,,,,,and the poor that make almost nothing say.......20K pays the same flat tax......why is that not fair? do you want the poor to pay nothing at all?...so we should all be poor, then where does the governemnt get their money to run the country?
where does the gov get money to give to the poor. do you want the rich to pay everyones way?..... thats fair?
