Eager to hear what you think about the Meijer store in Gaylord.

What I'm hearing is not favorable.

I haven't been there...I live in Florida now. My mother who still lives up north said it's fine but it's A LOT smaller than the ones in Bay City, Saginaw and Traverse.

Wow! I would like to say (IF) the local rental office had made a CORRECT decision, than I would be more than happy to jump up and down, and even blow a horn or two!
But, since your area does not like other to be equal-IE whom they love should be booted in their views. But, then again you are not perfect either
Mr.Rental Office-DJS!!Hmmm, got you thinking? Or are you too blind?

What might that be? Just wondering? Must not be any news to read about.

I was very disappointed in Meijers "lower" prices, to me lower prices means cheaper then our high priced Walmart & to find prices either the same or HIGHER was very disappointing so much for all the hype that this store would offer lower prices which it sure didn't. I know I won't be shopping there very much.

Very true! The prices have taken all the "fun" out of going shopping! Now it is a stress test to try and save as much as one can.
Headlines should read Meijer's & Walmart shoppers-
No low prices-we just want your dam money! Thank you for shopping with us. Must have those items made in China and other counties.
Better grow my own veggies, and make my own household items. Find a good yard sale for those items you can't find any longer-this is "fun" shopping! Then make your Grandma's homemade apple pie. Or you can get one of those pie's at your local Meijer's or Walmart store? Hmmm, sounds yummy! All crust and no fruit. Don't buy one, buy two!

Recently a friend went to Meijers & supposely they plan on doing some price reductions cause people aren't "flocking" into their store-go figure be higher /same as walmart & people will continue to do walmart.

Just stopped in Meijers store in Gaylord today on my way home . I live downstate. Was surprised. It is a very nice store. The only thing I can see is they do not have alot of clothing. Check out Mason,Michigan store. They have flannel shirts, sweaters and lots of clothing in a small scale store and they do very well. I think for the area more clothing. Beautiful produce area. Loved it. I wouldn't shop in Walmart for my food anyhow. Not as clean and kept up.

They don't carry much clothing because of the Kohl's across the road. I was told by sales personnel that is also why they carry no jewelry, watches etc. I was Very disappointed in the store. They have gone out of their way not to compete.
