Funny the Village Green network was part of these investigations. It is a known fact by many while visiting my Uncle at their Wallingford CT location in mid February of 2011, I witness women in a wheel chair chocking on her dinner in their rear second floor dining area. There was no supervision to be found during the choking from what I saw and I could tell even as an amateur, this poor women had a problem with meal time due to a bad swallowing reflex habit I observed while eating. She did initially pass-away right in the dining room, EMT ambulance crew was notified to late on top of it as staff seemed to do what they were trying to do for survival? EMTs supposedly later revived her clearing the blockage through everyone’s amazement. She later died at the hospital. I was later told Village Green of Wallingford may have received a small fine for such a large price to pay for a life no matter what condition or respected ills the women suffered from. It is just plain wrong, scary and seen as insubordination and incompetence by the staff at this Village Green facility. After what I saw I was hoping the state would shut them down. I would of hated to have this happen under my supervisory watch and live with this the rest of my life. Spread the word and tack one up for this facility and the others mentioned.
