Some people just can't make decisions or take responsibility for themselves, so they move into communities with H.O.A's and just pay other people to make their decisions for them. Kind of like the way the Federal Government makes all of our decisions for us and we don't have a fucking thing to say about any of it. J.W. Simms.
JWS,
We are retired and were looking at a home in KP. What is the neighborhood and HOA like. We are formally from Minnesota and do not know anything about the area.

That's a great question. I know nothing about the tree company. But notice ALOT of improper trimming in the phx area. It depends on where the trees were located. They may have been thinning the trees for up coming monsoon?

And AZBEE from Chandler doesn't know the proper use of "there", "their" or "They're". So, glad AZBEE doesn't live here anymore.

I have lived here since I built the house in 1999. Yes, there are some who do not keep their property as nice as they should, but overall the community is a nice one and has lovely parks. No matter where you live, you are always going to have those few people who just don't care what their property looks like - that's what the HOA is for, to take complaints about poorly kept properties and send notices demanding they clean them up. The HOA we have does a good job; it is also up to the homeowners to make sure they are aware of problems with weeds, trash, etc. The City of Surprise Code Enforcement also is wonderful about responding to complaints of "Blite" (or eyesore properties). I have been here 14 years, and have never had a problem with the HOA, only with one neighbor who seems to think the street is their trash can, toilet, junk-car lot, etc. The HOA couldn't do much, but the City of Surprise sure stepped in and got it straightened out! Of all the communities in the near vicinity (and I have been through all of them), Kingswood Parke is one of the nicer ones.

And did you report this to City of Surprise Code Compliance? Probably not, or they would have acted on the report. It is against the law to have more than 2 adults per bedroom if they are not related. So if you have 8-10 renters in one house next to you, shame on you for not reporting the violation and not reporting the drug activity.
It is up to each and every resident to make sure the community stays nice; turning a blind eye and leaving it for someone else to "fix" is not the answer. Speak up and take action - that is how you keep your community nice.

In my opinion, Americans are too interested in the TV, than to fight for what is right...,we are all guilty of thinking someone else will take care of it. The elite in power knows this, and they understand Americans are divided in just about everything, and we are too scared to speak up. Government officials are hired (voted) by the people, but they know their bosses (us) wont check up on them, so, they do as they please and will sell the 'farm' from underneath us. That said, we need to fight for every citizen, who's rights have been violated; and we need to address the issues of corruption, which we agree is dismantling our American freedoms, and fight for those concerns..., the key right now is to go and fight the issues we all agree upon and not spend the effort on those we disagree on...we need a United America again...and this should start at your neighborhood. An initial establishment of small gatherings or group settings should be a great starting point to get Americans united and which 90% agree on the issues on the table and address these issues to local and state government. Please email me your ideas on a united America! AndyXFlores@AtYourPace.Info
