does anyone else in wittmann live a mile or so away from the bus stop... or has anyone gotten the transportation people at nadaburg to move a bus stop closer to home?

I live 200 feet shy of the bus stop on Lone Mountain.

They wont move our bus stop because of the major wash that Lone Mountain hits.

1 of my kids gets Title 1 help from the state and it says that the school is supposed to pick up my kid at my door because he gets and needs this help.

So far, that hasnt happened. All because of a wash that maybe runs once every year and a half or so.

Holy shit! You mean that you have a child who has to walk just 200 ft short of a mile, to get to the bus stop? Why! I’ll say that’s Goddamn outrageous. It’s discriminatory practices such as this that makes one wonder if we even have a school board in Wittmann and if so, who’s running the damn thing. Just because your child may be 30-40 lbs overweight, is no reason to subject the fat little bugger to the torturous trek of 200 ft just short of a mile to get to an ill placed school bus stop. With this kind of injustice going on, I’ll bet your obese sweaty little person is even subjected to an incredible wait time of at least 5-10 minutes before the bus even arrives to haul his fat little ass on to school, this is totally unacceptable and needs to be looked into.

I’ll tell you what, J. W. Simms has friends in the State legislature and I’ll see what I can do to alleviate the pain and suffering your student is being put through. I have known of State Senator Jack Harper for about four years now, he represents our area, so Ill be on the phone to him first thing in the morning. Walking just 200 ft short of a mile to get to a school bus stop, Goddamn outrageous if you ask me. Now then, if things go the way I’m sure they will after I talk to good old Jack, I think It’s safe to say, that you can expect a limousine to arrive at your front door to transport little fatso to and from school until we get this bus stop mess straightened out and please don’t worry, I happen to know the driver personally and he doesn’t care a thing about washes and such, running or not. On one final note, please be assured, this limo will be equipped with an electric wheelchair to transport your over sized child directly to his classroom, God forbid the fat little twerp lose any weight taking a step or two. You can bet your sweet ass we’ll get this mess straightened out.( YOUR WITTMANN VOICE IN THE KNOW ) J. W. Simms.

~*lol. I have to laugh at you. My child is far from fat. And secondly, is 5 years old. That's a bit far for a 5 yr old to walk, especially alone w/ all the snakes out here. So I drive him every morning to the bus stop.
I think the state or D~d should pay for my gas.*~

I placed a call to Senator Jack Harper just this morning, apparently he is out on vacation at this time, something about out hiking some trail. I'll converse with Senator Harper about your dire situation as soon as he returns. In the mean time might I suggest that you walk the 200ft shy of a mile to the bus stop WITH!! little chub-bo, the walk will do you good and God knows you could stand to lose several unsightly pounds yourself.( Your Wittmann Representative ) J. jw, you need to better place yourself in other topics that better suit you.... actually, anyone noting that their child is walking a mile home is just pulling at your pedifile strings. huh? It does suck for a child to walk home in 115 degree heat through washes with rattlesnakes etc... hopefully there is not a jw lurking in the bushes masterbating and just waiting to lunge at a young boy walking home in the heat.... love the country and ruralness of wittmann, just some of the bus stops are a bit far for a young kid to have to walk home.. jw, kiss my grits. You are just such an asshole sometimes.

WHAT do you mean sometimes?? It's all the time. 24/7/365. Wouldn't want my kid anywhere near Simms. But then again I wouldn't leave my kid anywhere where Simms would have a shot at him.

I used to have to walk a good mile or two to get to the bus stop. What people don't realize when they move to Wittmann is that it's remote, it's tiny, it's minuscule. Sure it has a large population (omg, 3k!) but it's so spread out. Do you know how hard it is to actually plan a new bus route? That wash may only wash over once a year, but when it does you would STILL expect the school to endanger the rest of the children on the bus to pick up your one child. My advice? Keep on driving them to the bus stop. Best you can do with such small resources. Yours isn't the only kid out there that needs to get to school. You really have a problem? Petition the board to fund for the extra gas it takes to get to your house to pick up your kid. Or ask them to fund for another bus that specifically picks up disabled children. Topix isn't the best place to get the word out that you need special attention. Neither is complaining to neighbor Joe.
JW Simms. Troll to the extreme. You really have nothing better to do than sit around on topix and troll the forums? Check out Something Aweful dot com. They LOVE people like you.
