RJ SPRINGER HOMES - I too did some research and things ARE NOT GOING GOOD for them. There are Mechanics Liens filed against them - total amount approx 1 million. There are about 20 homes in Peak View Ranch that have a Trustee Sale Notice filed against them. All of this information can be found on www.maricopa.gov (recorded docs tab). All of the sales centers have been shut down, most of the numbers have been disconnected and all of the real estate license have be transfered. I FEEL SORRY FOR ANYONE WHO WROTE A PURCHASE CONTRACT AND GAVE THEM A EARNEST DEPOSIT. Chances are pretty good they won't get their home or their money back.

RJ SPRINGER is DONE! Don't know what that are hoping to get away with... maybe trying to sneak out of town? They had a post on craigs list for the past 2 weeks (removed by author today) OFFICE LIQUIDATION SALE - EVERYTHING MUST GO! They ARE closing up - they just haven't made the general public aware of it. One of the former Sales Associates for them has one of the Models listed on the MLS with Re/Max

Per Chase bank loan officer she said we can not purchase the properties. So we are out the downpymt but we are over that now since its been almost 3 yrs. We have filed with the ROC. I think it is time to move on no one knows if these house will ever get done and now that another employee has quit we should too.

Stay with your ROC Complaint, they have a recovery fund thatyou might be able to recoup some of your losses. As far as your home that you were purchasing in Patton Place....never say never... some builder will eventually be going in there and cleaning up the mess that RJ Springer left behind - there might be a chance - depending on how far along your house is - a builder with a sense of right and wrong - none one out to make a fast buck - might be able to make things right with the home buyers who's homes are already in the building process. RJ Springer needs to be held accountable for mismanagement - so don't stop pursuing all legal avenues including earnest deposit return. To my knowledge, they have not yet filed bankruptcy (not sure what's stopping them - unless they're trying to get away with something really sneaky). This needs to be brought to the attention of the news stations and the front page of the republic. Let your voices be heard - that way they will not be able to do this to anyone else under another Builders name.

Unfortunately, a Real Esate Purchase Contract gives you NO rights to the property. Someone will finish what Springer started.... but Springer needs to officially be done and until they file Bankruptcy and/or it becomes PUBLIC knowledge that they're done - no one else can even begin to think about picking up the pieces. CALL THE NEWS STATIONS and Force RJ Springer to own up to their mess. Only those of you with purchase contracts and earnest deposit's with RJ Springer have a voice that NEEDS TO BE HEARD!

I have watched them for 2 years at Sun Valley Meadows, this was an obvious outcome to their incompetent management. I was amazed that someone would keep building houses in a down market with no sales and no completed streets or water. Without that they had no chance of closing houses but they kept building. Has looked like the formula for disaster since they started building in Sun Valley and from what I hear the were doing the same stupid things in Peak View. Called thier bank 2 weeks ago and the bank said they have no problems. Looks like their lender is as clueless as the borrower.

After reading Baffled... I agree with StJay... The major news media needs to become involved and force RJ Springer out from hiding and pretending everything is fine.

I have heard rumors of RJS having filed bankruptcy and when I spoke to Steve Sidoti, he denied it after having spoken to the owner. Everyone is leaving and they continue to not inform us...

Don't know when you talked to Steve Sidoti but I was just told that effective July 3 he had resigned. Just more evidence they are down the tubes.

I e-mailed Kent Dana we'll see what gets said. I don't really trust that anything will. I am in the same boat with the Patton Place Estates people in that I am building east and north of there and Springer was supposed to bring in the electricity.

On the Dept of Real Estate Web Site, Steve Sidoti license was severed from RJ Springer on 5.31.2007, Dean Doty (designated broker) and the other Sales Associates License were severed the first week of June. I have access to US District Courts - PACER Login and as of Friday, RJ Springer has not yet filed bankruptcy -

And looks like Dean Doty is listed as a broker with another company; even Steve Sidoti told me taht. I knew Steve left and per, rumor, was let go because he was not doing his job. Wish RJS would be honest.

Billvxii, are you brining in another development or building independentlt?

Well, I am not so sure about that. He was hired to take care of issues , but I always questioned his integrity.

TRUST ME.... I know that which I speak. He was hired the first of the year to handle 'issues' because they needed someone they could put on the firing line (because none of them had the balls). They played him, giving him as little information as possible, feeding him with half truths to pass on to the buying public. He started putting pieces together, figuring out things on him own AND then started butting heads big time with the fools that made the mess to begin with (Scott, Gordon, Dean). They've been telling so many lies for so many years - they wouldn't know fact from fiction if their lives depended on it!

METOO speaks the truth. Big builders, especially when they are in trouble, use the guys in the feild to do the dirty work and then they walk away with the money and come back another day as somebody else. I've seen it in other places when things went south. So you can't really blame Steve, he was doing what he thought best with the information he had. Still stinks though.

Angry.. right now I don't really have a plan. I have contacted the Dept of Real Estate about the Public Report on Section 6 saying that the infrastructure and the roads would be finished by June 6,2007 and they are not. This is the promise on which I built my house that I can't finish because of power. And APS, being the helpful people they are, want me to put in $60K worth of infrastructure to get power to my place. I have a little 'anal-glacoma' on that one. I would put in a generator except I have been ripped off so many times I don't want to put anything else out there I can't afford to have stolen. I have cameras up and that has stopped some of it but still, if they want it.....
Tell me when this thread is updated!
