However you wish to vote on this issue. Make sure you know where to go.

A School Bond Question asking for approval on a secondary property tax for Nadaburg School District property owners is up for a vote where the majority takes all.

It is important to pass the word to as many people as possible that the voting location has been moved. Voting normally completed at the Wittmann Community Center will not happen in this election.

Please read the full report at http://www.wittmannnews.com and then pass on the link to the information or tell everyone you know living in this area who wishes to vote about the slick maneuver in getting the voting location moved to a location that is not assessable to many registered voters in the original Wittmann Community and to those who go to vote only to find their otherwise legit precinct that is not open for business.

I find your reporting to be irresponsible at best. First, voting has happened at this site since 2008 on a regular basis. During the Presidential election they do open more sites. Due to turn out numbers the polling places are selected by the county, not the school district. Second, you have a letter on your web site inferring that Vistancia residents will vote for the bond since they don't understand Wittmann life. This simply is not true. Only residents of the Nadaburg School District will be permitted to vote on a bond impacting that entity. Third, you discuss this big secret investigation but give no information. What is the purpose in that? Finally, you seriously need to have someone check your grammar usage. The writing is of such a low quality you simply cannot call yourself a professional journalist.

Anyone who is too stupid and/or lazy to (a) find Desert Oasis Elementary School or (b) thinks it is too far away to go to should be automatically disqualified from being a registered voter. You people are why Wittmann has the sterling reputation it enjoys among Valley residents.

A vote against this is only going to hurt kids. This vote will impact programs for kids and the reputation of what the community supports. "That" will have a direct impact upon property values. So, you can support your communtiy with a yes vote or think that a no vote is making a statement. The smart move would be to do the right thing for kids.

Voting no was not a vote against kids. How convenient to blame the citizens of our community for the chronic problems of your school. If your school didn't mismanage their funds, screw up our taxes and did a better job I would've voted yes. Don't blame us. Manage what you have better and show us you deserve our money. Especially for those that don't make much more than the head idiots car supplement.

The scores and testing proves this "district" is failing in every way. More money is not the answer any more than less money is the problem. Get on your knees and beg Dysart to aquisition the area and provide competent staff. MAYBE then the kids will stand a chance.

I'm so glad that this bond issued failed. My taxes have DOUBLED in the last two years while my property value has DECREASED significantly. If you check the county assessors website you will see some of us in Wittmann are paying the same in taxes as people living in Cave Creek with homes currently valued 400 to 500k. Now those Cave Creek homes were probably 800 to 900k a few years ago. How can our tax bills be the same? We are being robbed. Our taxes should have gone down or at least stayed the same, not doubled.
