A few of my friends in SCW have noticed that the most recent EPCOR water bill is exactly the same as the one 2 months ago (when we still had AZ Water as our provider). I phoned to complain that an actual person couldn't have read my bill and come up with the same amount as 2 months ago because we had been away for 10 days during this current billing period. EPCOR said they'd send someone out on Tuesday to re-read the meter and adjust as needed.

However, when my step-mother (also from SCW) phoned to ask for another meter reading, she was told she would need to PAY for it!! That's nuts!

Anyone else in SCW notice the same problem? Do you really think EPCOR came out and read our meters?

OK, we agree it's part of the bill and you are now saying "those remain the same". So, the more water you use the higher your bill. Water therefore, is not cheap.

The actual charge is peanuts compared to the total bill. You could use twice the water one month and only pay $3 more on a $36 water bill.

Epcor is incompetent. In July my household of 2 used 6k gallons. In August it was 10K. Epcor can't explain other that "that's what you used." Really? Nothing changed between the months and I used 4k more?

epcor water -moved into bullhead city with a vengeance --and the rates have more than tripled -went from $45 to $110 ----they now have all new trucks they ride around in -with a minimum of 2 people in each truck --spending my money --what a rip off -the utility commission should be ashamed of themselves --next session, vote all the incumbents out --

...there has been in the south-west 'range wars' over water 'rights' and many people have lost their property and sometimes even their lives over the powers that be...times have changed (a little) but the common denominator of 'greed' and 'power' (twin sisters) are still very much alive...remember you need just three things to be able to 'survive'...(1) Food (2) Water (3) Guns...take away any one of those three items and you have produced a non-willing 'servant to the Elites'...

EPCOR water company is a rip off!! They are charging their customers a basic service fee that makes no sense. Mine was 50 bucks a month and I asked them what that was for. The rep told me it was for someone to come out and read the meters and to treat the water. 600 bucks per year plus the water I use per month is just a ridiculous amount to pay. They are ripping off their customers. I've never paid this much for water in my entire life unless I owned a pool. We need to start a petition.
