As I wrote earlier in the month , the aerospace industry is sending jobs to Mexico - including those in airline maintenance .

Outsourcing any aerospace job to another country should be against the law as a matter of National Security.
The biggest problem is when sub assemblies, jobs or parts are sub contracted to a vendor. That company will outsource to foreign country.
Mexico is just a small part of a very large problem.
If you dig deep enough into the Manufactures of Prescription Drugs, you would be amazed at where some are manufactured and the steps companies take to hide that fact.

Wrong again. Mexico is only the tip of the iceberg. Take a look around the world for the majority of the outsourcing.

JW I use to think just like you...however ALL General Motors Transmissions are manucatured in CHINA and ASSEMBLED in Mexico.

The fact is that so much of what use to be MANUCATURED in the U.S.A. is now maufactured in the South Pacfic Basin with .17 cent/hr wages. thats right seventeen cents and hour with no sick leave, vacation or health benifits.

There is no way we can compete with such bastardly low wages.

Mexico is just a conduit and assembly area for Big Business that continues to rape the American Citizen.

With all due respect Sir, I have yet to meet the man who thinks just like me. If there were more like me, there would be a lot less of them! and this country would never have become the ( SHIT PIT ) that it is today. It has been so long since I have heard the jingle on tv.( LOOK FOR THE UNION LABLE ) That I don't give one shit about this country or it's people any longer.

George W Bush and Dick Cheney have brought this country to it's knees, and come this November I will vote for John McCain to finish it off by kicking it in the face, It doesn't deserve any better. By the way sir, I am a Democrat.

Out source America, In source Mexico and the rest of the world, who gives a fuck. J. W. Simms

Even though .17 and hour is obscene wages to pay for wages, the lion's share of the blame for outsourcing can be placed at the feet of greedy and over demanding labor unions. As long as Americans are unable to sacrifice their gas guzzleing vehicles, their big screen t.v.s, their big over priced homes, all the glut that requires Americans to have to pull 6 figure salaries, labor unions will force more and more jobs outside the U.S. With Americans quest to keep up with the Jones has put this Country in the highest inflation it has ever been in, mostly due to global supply and demand for oil and over inflated wages. American businesses can't compete with foreign businesses. It's either move it or dissolve it. As long as Americans continue to pay exorbitant prices and labor unions keep demanding exhorbitant wages, then more and more companies will be forced to outsource. To bring America back to what it use to be, back to the days of "Made In America," Americans have to focus on what they need, and not obsess on what they want.

I dont feel very much love in here today.
I have seen the good that unions do and the problems that unions can creat. Over all I belive unions actually gave the American blue collar worker a chance of making a decent living.
The American Bar Association is nothing more that a 'union' of lawyers...The American Medical Association is nothing more than a 'union' of doctors...The Faternal Order Of Police is nothing more than a 'union' of policemen...etc..etc..
When management creats a harsh work enviroment for the workers their only choice is to quit or form a 'union'. strength in numbers.
What has happen in the U.S.A. is that Big Business has spent billions of dollars thru their 'lobbyists' to pay off both political party elected officials to create a void in our national work force to lower wages. Couple that with the fact that ever since Roe VS Wade came into being we have killed off a whole generation of people who would have been natural born citizens and now members of our labor force. We would not have had to allow 13-20,000,000 Mexican border jumpers into our country to take up the slack.
So you see there are plenty of things that went wrong to place us in the mess we are now in. The Democrat and Republican are little more than puppets of Big Business and the three canidates that are now running for their respective political parties are already bought and paid for by Big Business.

Something just does not ring true here folks.
Perhaps am wrong but I sense that everybody is happy with the quality of the products that we are forced to accept from China.
I for one want to go on record that must everything I have ever bought that has 'Made in China' is either too small, poor workmanship or badly designed. China makes 'cheap, inferior products'. But what choice have we got since Big Business and our Government has decided that Americans want 'cheap, inferior products', thus there is very little choice to consider.
Even our food products are soon to be the same thing. Grown outside the U.S.A. with very little safe guards regarding safety and quality.

hell absolutately how ignorant are you people, plus the low wages that americans get, there shouldnt be any out sourcing
Compared to other global wages, American skilled and blue collar workers earn more money and have more benefits. Actually Americans that don't work earn more than third world countries with unemployment benefits, welfare, workman's comp. and Social Security and disability benefits. The average wage is $50,000 per year. Labor Unions and the Federal Gov. have made it where Employers have to pay into the employee's Social Security, health insurance, and 401K. So when Labor Unions insist that employees should have higher wages, more health insurance, more retirement be paid, that's when outsourcing jobs start happening. The U.S. use to be top in export business. Now I can hardly think of any commodities that we do export. Americans are having a harder time earning the type of money to keep up with their extravagant lifestyles. Speculators are driving up the price of oil since Americans can't give up their extravagant vehicles and are draining oil supplies. The Government is so lame that they came up with the idea of bio-fuel using corn. Now the whole world is in danger of a food shortage. I mean, how smart is this U.S Government that they think that burning our own food is a solution.

In order for the 3rd world countries to increase their living conditions we must in the U.S.A. lower ours. This has been the mantra of the United Nations for decades and our elected governmental officals have bought into this idea, Democrats and Republicans.

As much as I dislike Government interference, the best thing for this Country is to have Government regulate the way lending institutions extend credit to individuals. It seems that from the moment of birth, some lender will issue a credit card. That is why we're all in this mess now with the sub-prime home loans. Americans are strictly living off their credit. They would rather loose their home instead of their credit cards. They have to pull at least $150.000 a year salaries to pay the minimums and the payments on the Hummer and the Lexus in the driveway. Instead of lowering the interest rate on credit, they should be raising it. That's the only way to get this Country out of this high inflation. People think that this Mexican immigrant problem is huge, just wait till the Asian, Middle Eastern, and Canadian people start buying all of these vacant houses because their money is worth way more than the American dollar. Middle Easterners are already buying into American Banks to keep them afloat. Probably those same people are funding the Taliban as well.

Argue all you want...but when Grandma is on the way to your house for Mothers Day tell her that that large piece of wing she just saw fly off while looking at the pretty cloud formations out the window is nothing to worry about...after all, the Country that probably put that panel on wasnt the Country that engineered or designed the airplane...it will probably make its destination.

Looks folks, we all know that the people we elect dont actually represent the average American Citizen. There are 'Special Interest Groups','Lobbists for Big Business','Politically Correctness regarding Foreign Aid' etc...all that is far more important to 'our elected' officals (except at election time) than you and I are durning the typical elective term.
What we need is a real shake up (and I dont mean Obama), some 3rd political party that is a cross between the old Democratic Party (before it went left wing Liberal) and the good business sense Republican Party (before it went NAFTA and anti-American Worker.
What say ? makes sense ?

Lets form a really 'NEW' Political Party.

The 'American Pissed Off Party'

Our motto could be 'America, Love it or leave it'

Our creed is 'America First'

any takers ?
