If you're from here you really don't find it interesting. You know why it isn't posted or published.

i don't think you will ever hear about it because it involved a deputies son also . I thought the hospital was supposed to report stuff like this to some kind of authorities when someone is raped.but instead they just run her out of town.....

Oh no, you don't understand. Those people and their relatives are all exempt from justice. They enforce justice, not receive it. Look at how many politicians don't even bother to pay taxes.

We've got two sets of laws in this country.

There has always been two sets of laws in Caldwell Parish. At least the State Police are slowing things down in the Hebert area. I'm happy about that.

Trying to get control of the parish. I'm proud of them. They actually have been writing tickets and the nights are quiet. It slowed down the "boom boom boom", poping pipes and burning rubber. Someone needed to do it.

I couldn't agree more. And it aint just in Hebert, it's all over the Parish. Saw 2 of them here around my neighborhood. Just wondering, have you heard of a parish patrol car being stopped by a State Trooper? Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they did.

Haven't heard about it. I wouldn't doubt it either. I went riding around the parish this weekend and this is one trashy parish. Around Castor Creek they must just pull off on the side of the road and clean the beer cans out of their trucks and throw out their fast food bags. There were two young men on the side of the bridge with rifles shooting road signs. It just seems to get worse every day.

We've got a camp down close to Castor, so I know what you're talking about. Out there, loud pipes all hours of the night, and they rev their motor in front of the camp. And you said they were shooting signs, in the words of Jackie Gleason, "What we're dealin' with here, is a complete lack of respect for the law." I reckon I'm gonna start driving through there when I head to Jena. Driving a retired patrol car may delay some of those problems or, if I'm lucky, stop them altogether. I've come to the conclusion that this is one messed up Parish.

Our camp is out there too. You are correct. It is a messed up Parish. I called the law about the pipes on the trucks and the boom, boom, boom. They said it is not illegal. I told him I was going to follow them home with an air horn and when they went to sleep....I was going to stand in the middle of the road in front of there house and sound off. The deputy told me that was harassment. I told him the pipes were harassment. Of course, I could be wrong.
