There is more to the story than you know. Please respect his privacy in the matter. He didn't turn his back on them. He was excited. He just made a life decision.

If you know more, share it. sure doesn't help the kids to say "well there's more to the story but you're not important enough to tell it to. see ya!"

Coach Salyers has never turn his back on the kids. He just a couple of weeks ago went to football camp with 12 of the kids from Wise and Pound. He stayed with them and helped the kids to learn and improve. He has been involved with the kids and always willing to help them in any way he could. He had to make a life changing decision. Just respect his and his families privacy in this matter

Bi is a very good coach, and has always treated the kids with respect, he has done an awesome job over the past few years, he has had a few problems with his temper when it comes to parents and fans, but if you are in high schools sports who hasn't. Everyone makes mistakes and can overcome those, but this time he has made a mistake that no one can get him out of.

His Life decision was made for Him Chuck> Makes it tough on those Coach's that have to step up. Jason Mullins will do a great Job. Just hope the players parents will support him as well.

Concerned would NOT have made those comments if they cared about ANYONE involved. Pathetic. There are enough losers on here-we parents will take care of OUR kids just like BI did! Thanks BI for always stepping up for our kids!

Jason Mullins doing a good job? HA, thats funny. He has already been run out of pound, since he was the one of the worst coaches ever. He put his hands a Norton fan one time after a game. Probably will go 1 and 9 or 0 and 10

Did BI get indicted over something. Also if they chose Jason Mullins as a coach they have made a mistake. That guy is a horrible coach.

Public official? bahahahahahaha! I'm sorry, but I had to laugh at that. High school football coaches are now officials? We should've had new schools built long ago.....

This thread is ridiculous. I love how parents know how 'shitty' a coach Jason is based on how he did at pound. Jesus Christ himself couldn;t win coaching pound's talent-less kids. Pound parents need to realize their kids aren't the next peyton manning or aaron rogers. Thats why you keep running off coachs like jason and crabtree. Oh wait you dont have to worry about that anymore because there isnt a PHS anymore.

And im suprised THE_GREAT_ONE isnt from BSG because he sounds like a self righteous Powell Valley fan. If you're really from Haysi how many state titles has Haysi won? State Appearances? I'm pretty sure JJK and PHS have you beat there.

BI is a good coach, a good man, and good to the kids he coaches. He doesnt deserve to lose his job, especially in a tough transition year like this, but if he does I have full confidence in Jason Mullins as Wise Central head coach.
