they cut our hours, take our personal leave days and our vacations then our holiday pay. then they tell us that we have to pay our own insurance. they dont pay none of their debts. This is not the A&G Coal that I grew up to know. This bunch forgets about who made them rich and pays for their fancy cars and luxuries us poor employees that they dont care about does.

My husband also works for them and its a shame what they are doing and it will only get worse..They gave there men this letter stating all there cuts in pay for insurance and holidays and so on on the night before New Years and guess what holiday they cut out New Years. That's low. My family barely makes it pay day to pay day and now this..and not to mention all the equipment there selling. What will happen to the employees running the equipment that has to be parked because it is being sold? There saying there will be no lay offs but how can they not lay off? From the way things are going they should probably hope for a lay off. What a way to treat your employees.. Way to run a company J.Justice!!!

I bet the big wigs will get paid holidays get vacation days and has real good insurance. I also heard the office in wise is moving the office out of town. The coal companies is no longer for families like they were when my dad was underground. Now it is the money how much they can get and get by with

there isn't many companies any more that are for the families and especially the men working to make their pocketbooks fat. seems like its happening everywhere not just in the coal industry. the more money these people have the more they want. don't stop and think who is making the money for them while they set in an office all day letting the money roll in. no morals or conscious. money speaks their language and that's all that matters. these men are out here working their butts off and making an honest living and they get treated like dirt. sad thing is, they have to have their jobs to support their families, so what are they gonna do except set back and take it.

I wish Jay Justice would read this and see how he is ruining peoples lives while he enjoys his lavish life. Jerry Wharton should have never sold the company to this selfish man. These men who work for him have worked hard to earn what they got and he takes it away. He's pathetic.

Sad,that some people believed a coal company would look out for them. The truth is its likely to get a lot worse,as corporations keep getting more power.

It is the fact that you are working not for any company but a coal company that can provide these things but too cheap to do so. Coal is the best job you can have when it comes to pay and paid vacation and holidays va fuels changed that for a lot of dedicated workers

A&G was a good company to work for. After selling out to Justice, it has changed considerably. It's not just the owners who have ruined it, but some of the bosses too...such as Benny! He is an arrogant, cocky, disrespectful, JERK! My advice to the worker....it may be time to look for another job. The way it's looking, this company will not last much longer.
