Are people really voting for Carlo? Have you looked at your real estate tax bill recently? I would vote for Mickey Mouse before I would vote him back in.

Yea, me too - no Carlo, no way .... He has hired too many 'friends', put them on the payroll at exceedingly high salaries (plus benefits etc etc). This is costing us taxpayers a fortune !!!! He really should have cut the payroll instead of increasing it like he has !!!!! But I suppose those he appointed will become his 'supporters' in the next election (and the hires family as well - I mean who wants to loose such a high paying position. IMHO he is just building his 'voter base.'

Real estate taxes = increased $$$$; water bills = increased $$$$-- and don't get me started on the marble fountain coming soon to the square -- of course who do you think those contractors will vote for (duh !!!)....

To me I think the square area needs to be cleaned up to warrant a marble fountain down there....Is this just me ????

Today's Boston Globe, North Section: Everett - another new department head appointed (see what I mean?)....This is happening over and over. I don't think the new dept. head's salary was stated -- will to be its over the $100,000 mark !!!!!!! Grrrrrrrr ....

Nothing but a bunch of buffoons! McGonagle blew his chance in 07 when he got into a bar brawl during GOTV weekend. Marchese ran and got 731 votes! Mille is too condescending and tries to be Ms.Nice, didn't her son get canned while he was in the parking office? And Robert can never pull the trigger...Mayor, Rep Senate...he should be president by now! Looks like we're stuck with Carlo!

I really hope someone steps up and runs against these fools. I've already heard of two in ward three with big names and deep pockets. Has anyone noticed that Joe Marchese registered to vote in Everett? Same guy that was an Alderman and lived outside the city and still does. Wonder what kind of stunt he's looking to pull.

What other city has a candidate for mayor that lives in another city? Everett is so fortunate since we already have appointees made by this mayor who don't live in Everett. Don't you think so?

Soon we may be getting a lot of absentee ballot voters who don't live in the city.

I hear Greg Antonelli is going to be running for an at large seat. And then eventually will decide to run for mayor in the next 6-8 years. He feels as though there is a better candidate in the cith then him. He's smart, educated, has a sharp business sense, knows and understands budgets. And the most important thing is that he doesn't need the money. He wants to be mayor becaue he cares about what is going on in the city. Should be interesting if he decides to run or not.
