So, who can I put you down for, UKIP, or the BNP?
I am no leftie, nor commie.

I abhor racist politics, but I like UKIP.
Unfortunately, it's just another single issue party, so it won't get my vote.

i think that you should respect people, muslims are not all bad people, lets not forget the fallen hero's of the first and second world wars,we are all here because of them, they sacrificed their lives for us,i think that eventually all the fighting will come to a head, the world will crash, people have to fight for a better life now before it all ends.lets try to find peace within ourselves and then wish peace for others and all of their suffering.
We're not having a go at the good Muslims, just the large amount of ignorant ones.

A vote for UKIP, like the BNP, Green Party etc is a protest vote. However, I can see UKIP one day becoming mainstream if it works on a full set of policies.

Would someone explain this to me please. I keep hearing about the good muslims, espically here in the states.
So, where are those good muslims when the bad muslims do terror?
You never see demostrations by the good condeming the bad, you never hear the good on radio or televisioin be outspoken about the bad.
Do they not understand that through their silence(to us non muslims) it appears as if they agree with the bad muslims.
Does that make since?

I know several, but most I've met are full of hate for something or other.

Where were all the protests from American christians while christian terrorists kept killing innocents in Northern Ireland?

Nope, America didn't protest the terrorism, they just funded it.

9/11 virtually ended the IRA's NORAID fund raising though.

There has always been a very strong Irish lobby in Washington, sympathetic to the Republican cause (quite similar to the Jewish lobby in favour of Israel).
Some US politicians did come publicly in support of the IRA at time!

I can see UKIP voters rejoin the Conservative Party one day if we get a referendum on Europe, or extract meaningful concession from Brussels, or maybe if we repatriate some powers to Westminster.

UKIP voters are mostly of the Conservative ilk.

Just to put things into perspective here,

The Loyalist paramilitaries (UDA,UVF etc) killed more civilians in Northern Ireland than the Republican paramilitaries (IRA,INLA etc). The CAIN database has all the information.

The way you talk you would think the Loyalist paramilitaries never existed.

That the Provisional IRA and British Government had signed a concrete peace agreement in 1998. Supported with a vote by the people.

The Provisional IRA and the British Army ended the conflict with eachother in this agreement. IN 1998.

So 9/11/2001 has what to do with a conflict that ended in 1998?

What funding would the Provisional IRA have needed for ''terrorism'' when they had signed a monumental peace accord (Good Friday Agreement) in 1998?

So 9/11? The Provisional IRA and the British agreed peace in 1998......

Blinkered?

Did you miss out on the Good Friday Agreement in 1998?

The Good Friday Agreement which brought Loyalists, Unionists, Republicans, Nationalists, the Irish Government, the British Government around the table to make a deal which was overseen by the Americans with Clinton and George Mitchell having a big invovlement.

The Good Friday Agreement which gave certain concessions and assurances to all sides.

The Good Friday Agreement which was voted on by referendum by the people in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The Good Friday Agreement which ended the conflict in Northern Ireland.

Oh the IRA would have ripped that up if it wasn't for 9/11?

Haha, and I'm ''blinkered''???
