Does Bluto know the difference between a machine gun and a assault rifle yet. At the Democratic debate he did not know the difference.

An assault rifle is a weapon of war that has the option of select fire (burst rounds without repeatedly pulling the trigger).

An assault weapon is a made up term to describe any scary looking semi automatic rifle to make it sound even more scary.

A machine gun is any gun capable of select fire automatic bursts.

Actually, "definitions" is wrong. A machine gun is a heavy weapon that carrys alot of ammo.

BTW, I love how he says that a "machine gun" is the same as an Assault rifle. Two different things.

Actually anyone who calls an Assault rifle a "Machine gun" *cough* 90% of news reporters *cough* should go back to Preschool. ANYONE who's known a single gun knows the difference.

"Actual definition",
you spoke in circles and said nothing.
"A heavy weapon that carries lots of ammo",
lol
don't apply for that job at Websters any time soon.

Definitions was spot on.
You should read it again until you can understand what it means.

and a true Assault RIFLE and a machine gun are both capable of select (automatic) fire,
exactly like definitions said.

Assault Weapon is a new term used because it sounds like the correct term, Assault Rifle,
but broadens that definition to cover semi-automatic weapons.

lol,
BTW,
how much exactly is "lots of ammo"
well
