Another Carlo screw up.... All those machines sitting there for days on end doing nothing. Are we paying people or for equipment sitting there? We all need to vote this joker out this next election. Hay fatso why don't you clean up some of the other parks that were falling apart???? Glendale didn't need this facelift... You do...well at least a tummy tuck!

Yeah I'll breathe alright. Watch when a right fielder or left fielder playing baseball runs into the fence chasing a ball down the line. Or watch how close the two outfielders will be playing near each other during softball when two games are being played. Unless the city plans on not allowing the mens league to come back to Glendale park.

I can not believe that the Mayor of Everett would allow the park to be taken away from the girls and men's softball leagues. We are taxes payers too and why should we have to go to another city to play men's softball when we are from Everett. Who is Carlo to do this!!!!

The next time you get arrested, check out the situation on the other side of Elm Street from the police station.

Neither do you. If you look at the new configuration there is no way that the mens softball league will ever be able to be played there.

Here's the deal.... No one aside from the high school can play on that field otherwise it will void the warranty. I'm not sure how long that warranty is but this came from someone in the know.

So a park for the citizens of Everett can't be used by the citizens but has to be paid for by the citizens.

The next time the mayor says something, about the casino in particular, remember he is full of $hit. It's unbelievable that any ody believes anything a pos politician says!

My point is simply that you cannot currently play softball there at this juncture due to the construction. Follow the conversation.

yes....a warranty. I'm not sure how long the warranty period lasts for but I do know that no one will be playing on that field aside from the baseball team any time soon.

Someone go pull a permit to use the park and you'll be 100% rejected! Nice huh?

And Mens Softball will never be played there even after the completion. This park has been hijacked by the City to be used solely for EHS athletics and events. My understanding of the history of Glendale Park was that it was land given to the city to be used by its citizens and not to be used privately. I guess they are getting around the "privately" part by saying its a public school. Nice project that benefits the kids at EHS but screws the rest of Everett.

If Mens softball is done at Glendale park and the City of Everett it will be a dam shame. Softball in this city has gone back at least 50 plus years that i know of and gave us residents and family members a great thing to be involved in. Even the Seniors loved to come down and watch the double headers every night down at Glendale. Some of the best softball around was played in our parks and for many years..what a dam shame if that's all gone. At one time we had an A, B, C and D leagues with ten plus teams in each division playing every summer here. Wow are we ever going backwards in this city. I hope im not wrong and they still have a Mens softball league in Everett. Does anyone know whats become of the Softball leagues here?

The mayor already said that only EHS baseball will be allowed to play at Glendale. I guess the King has spoken!
