Did u know that you can pay your excise tax bills directly on www.kelleyryan.com
I procrastinated as usual anytime I have to mail or go into city hall to pay something it's always late costing me 40 in extra late fees oh well my bad but what I'm annoyed at is there is an alternative to pay right away on line!!
Just punched in the bill info for a newly issued excise bill and I'll b darned could have paid them here in the first place
Why doesn't the city tell you of this alternate payment channel when the bills go out!!!!

Ok folks here's the scoop on Kelleyryan.com :

I went to the website as I had never head of them but they are legit ...

EXCEPT: they charge to pay your bills online ...

0.50 for an electronic check

3.20% for credit card payments (minimum charge $3)....

I pay my bills electronically through my bank's website and there are no fees....

Not sure if I can pay RE taxes/water bill/excise taxes to the city - but I do pay National Grid, Cable bill, my charge cards, etc etc ...

True but .50 for online payment is a bargain vs a trip to city hall :)

The city's website has an online payments feature. I paid my property taxes that way and I saw a provision for excise taxes. No fee if you use your checking account.

Alberto, that is no longer the case. When you click on the excise tax payment button on the Everett site, you are sent to the KelleyRyan site, and there is a .50 fee to use your checking account.

I see that you are correct. Since it is a good way to pay real estate taxes, why not excise taxes etc.?

Its that mentality that has made this city the dump it has become. I suppose you throw your trash out your car window too. The street sweepers should clean up for you, right?? Lazy people who believe they should take no responsibility in having things run smoothly for ALL.
